We will probably play alright and get some decent positions but ultimately no one to stick it in. Derby have the players to pull a goal out of nowhere.

2-0 sheep, DF gets sacked

This should be a laugh.

First home derby I'll have missed since their return to the Championship, fingers crossed I can find a bar showing it in Berlin.
Wassall needs to win this or his car might end up like Fawaz's van did last year, he's here until the end of season but the boo boys are already out in force for him, desperately needs the win. So do our promotion "hopes" too.

I'll go 3-2 in a topsy turvy game, Niko Kranjcar winner.

Tough one to call this- you'd expect Derby to somehow have enough quality but I wouldn't rule out something equally as ridiculous as the 3-3 last weekend against Rotherham.

Really hope Forest can take at least something from the game.

These games do not abide by logic and are not governed by reason.

Last season we were on a ridiculous run of 1 win in 17 or something and they were flying. We win 2-1. That sums up these matches. I remember that first season under BD we lost 1-0 having been unbeaten for the whole season away from home and sitting in 3rd.

They're just bonkers, year in, year out.

There is always a weird quirk to it too, this week its the managers in the dugouts having played for the opposition (not the first time it's happened either..)

Ward going to be fit or not?
Looks like it..

What sort of reception he going to get? I imagine quite good, can't really blame him for joining us once released. 4 years and doesn't need to up and leave his family.

Reckon he will score if he plays. Judging by his celebration of Oliveira's goal I imagine he is not going to hold back either.

Ward I hope will get a good reception. Unless he scores, and moreso if he celebrates it.

Yeah he should get a good one until he starts winding the crowd up. Totally expected as that's the kind of character he is, nobody can fault him either, he plays these games with so much passion.

Anyway.. I hope it's a bit better than last year for all that are going, fingers crossed I come back to a decent performance and result on Monday. See you on the other side...

May I just add, Ward, all will be forgiven if you score or beat Dorbeh.

Cheers

The mighty Rams!!!
Two mediocre teams. We just about deserved it.

Forest did well for 20 mins or so. Intense pressing which means we looked very out of sorts. Soon as they tired we started to play from the back with space but didn't create much.

Second half we controlled the game I thought. We created overall the better chances and didn't really look like conceding.

Special mention to mills. Blatant horrible barge into Carson, then a few incidents in the melee which meant a yellow was very lenient. Allot of off the ball incidents by forest which went unnoticed or unpunished.

Oh well. We'll drag the season into another few more games.

Kind of agree with the above. We did ok but never created enough. I don't think Derby did either by the way of chances and a draw would be fair. Would always take a bit of quality and I thought the through ball and finish was good.

Can't grumble massively but always gutting to lose this match. The boys put a shift in though and that's all we want for the next 9 games

What a hero Marcus Olsson is! Great finish, and superb throughball from Ince.

Overall though, that was such a shit match. They're usually tight scrappy affairs, but there was so little quality in that game. Always felt we could sneak it though with the players we have, whilst Forest never looked like scoring. Well until the 92nd minute (or whenever it was) when I suspect Osborn's blocked shot may well have gone in had Thorne not got in the way.

Hopefully we can use this and kick on and get that playoff place. Going to be tough with Cardiff and Hull next, and Wednesday, Brighton, and Ipswich in the final three though. We've stumbled along against bottom half teams so far under Wassall with a less than impressive record.
