If they play like they did against Villarreal, we haven't a prayer.

If they play like they did during the second half of last season or against Grimsby, Bolton and Portsmouth this season we can take a share of the spoils.

If we play like we did against Barnsley in 2013 when we won 6-0 this should be a comfortable 3 points for us.

Hope you're right.

More seriously though, this is going to be tough for us to get anything from.
I think we'll probably lose, I do think a lot of people have underestimated us this season but it's still a team with a lot of new faces and despite Derby's 'slow' start, their squad possesses a lot of real quality and with this being their first home game, it makes it all the more difficult.

Heart says we can take a 1-1 but head says 3-1 home win.

We'll probably play the diamond, which probably means you'll win. If we go 4231 then I will be a lot more confident but the way we have played so far is concerning for sure, but it's only the 3rd game so a long way to go just yet.

We should win, but we probably won't. I predicted a slow stat, and it'll go on in to late August I feel.

Why should you win?

On what basis after two games, other than the fact we've won 2 from 2 and you haven't won at all?

I think you probably will win but I just don't understand comments like that one game into the season.

Nothing personal Rammy, it's just the second game running I've seen these comments, I was browsing through the QPR forum last week and it was littered with posts about how they should be beating the likes of Charlton.

Because we're at home, and we should be beating most teams on our own patch if we're to challenge? Says me, one of the most pessimistic people on the forum...

Fair enough.

We'll probably get humped 5-0 now I've posted that!

Much better performance today. Dominated the game, but just weren't convincing enough in the final third.

Charlton came for a point, and almost got all three if they'd held on after that fucking deflection from their first shot on target.

P.S I'm in love with George Thorne. Seriously, he was fucking immense today.

Could have won, had the better of the play and dominated overall in terms of shots and possession however Charlton broke really well, could have had a second really before we scored but overall it's a better performance and nothing is decided two games in. We've also only conceded 1 goal in 2 games, last season...

Well pleased with that.

Tough game as anticipated, Derby had the better of it as expected but we could and maybe should have put the game to bed after going one nil up but I will take a point all day long.

We have a ridiculous start to the season so am well chuffed with 4 points from the first two games.

Another team that should have beaten us but didn't.

After a flat first half I was really pleased come FT despite the result.

Thought we were top notch second half, unlucky to go behind but we didn't let our heads drop. We'll play worse than that this season and win plenty of games. Looking forward to seeing what we're playing like after another 5 or so games when we'll hopefully take it up a gear in the final third.

Imagine if we'd have had Thorne last season? The guys a different class. 8 shots for a CDM speaks volumes of how the game went.

Much better after the first two. Encouraging signs.

The mighty Rams!!!
I have a man crush on Thorne. Such a wonderful player. Him and Hughes are destined to be in the premiership.

No idea what was going through his head when he took that.
