A best league in the world doesn't necessarily mean it has to have the best team or teams. The Premiership at least has unpredictability about it in that any team can beat one of the top ones on any given day, quite unlike La Liga.
Lose both games to Munich and the best you can hope for is 9 points.....and I'm not sure you'll win in Greece either. Very bad result....but then I shouldn't be surprised, you're useless in Europe.
It's always the same isn't it? We have a game against a club that are odds on to lose against us, and we just go out and look like we have a god given right to win the game. It's why we have struggled against teams like Bradford, Monaco and Liverpool in recent seasons.
All too predictable. I just hope the other 3 big teams in the league carry the torch for English football in the Champions League this season. We'll all get through to the next stage, just hope someone makes an impact and gets a good win against a decent European side.
I can't understand why Wenger hasn't brought in another forward during the window. I know it's not easy to go out and fidn the right player that will improve the team but it's clear that Arsenal badly need a genuine world-class striker. Giroud is more than decent but he just doesn't do it consistently enough and has too many games where he looks next to useless. I feel even Benteke would have been an improvement for them as he's more mobile but also better in the air and at least his equal technically.
