So this is our closest trip of the season and we should be taking a very good following to Huish Park on Saturday.

Yeovil seem to be completely bipolar. How they can win 4-0 and 6-0 away but then go on a poor run is strange, however I understand they have some injuries and L2 is a bit random to say the least. Any Yeovil fans know if the injured players are likely to return for this one? Yeovil are a threat and I really like some of their players such as Ofoloma, D’Almeida, Sowunmi, Fisher etc so we need to be wary and on our game.

We’re in a very good place and have been consistently doing well during the last month. Hopefully we can avoid mixing the team up too much and we may only see someone like Lee Martin come in for Lee Holmes. If we can play on the front foot and take the game to them I can see us winning this, but taking nothing for granted.

3-1 City

I've no news on the injured players so can't help on that score. I agree about the jekyll and hyde nature of our season this far though and we've gone from breaking our EFL record for keeping the most clean concurrent clean sheets to not being able to keep them out. All very weird even allowing for the tweaking in line ups weekly.

Perhaps we are too influenced by confidence (or lack of currently) and maybe confidence was partly what helped us get off to such a flying start and now lack of confidence due to a bad result or two and frequent personnel changes has seen that flying start totally disrupted.

Either way we need to get back to winning ways sharpish or the "we're only 3 points from the play offs" retort from Darren Way after the latest defeat to Colchester could soon become "we're only 3 points off the bottom 2".

I'm not sure Exeter is the ideal side to be trying to rectify the slump against but it's a west country derby and you never know. Those of us at Sid James a few seasons ago will remember being 3 up with 5 minutes left and drawing. Exeter are a damn good side and have been knocking on the door the last 2 seasons for promotion. Stockley has proved a key signing and we need to ensure we keep him quiet.

Sadly i think Exeter will win this but one thing i can guarantee is that it won't be 0-0.

Always hopeful of the win though.

Sowumni won't be playing which is a massive blow, if Gary Warren can at least be a sub that's a massive boost as whenever he's played we've looked much stronger at the back.

We do seem to have lost heart recently which is strange as a month ago it was stronger than i've seen it in a long time. That is the nature of a Darren Way team though, we lurch from one extreme to the other.

I can see a 2-1 win for the Grecians.

I don't recall too many goals in recent seasons at Huish Park. I hope we are a bit more positive than against Port Vale and Stockley looks a bit off the boil at the moment, but fortunately we have Law and Martin playing brilliantly at the moment.
Yeovil are usually up for this and have pace which will test us. I'm thinking there will be quite a few cards too given our current style of play and Yeovil last season

I'm going for 1-1 with 1300 Grecians getting very wet.

gonna be a massive tear up as per usual. old bill will have to be out in force to control the yoof. proper nawty.

think it will be a good close game as per usual but we'll have enough to get the 3 points.

2-1 city win.

A point was fair. We bossed the first half but failed to get a second and Yeovil came out and attacked well. Horrendous mistake for the first goal though.
Inches away from winning it in the 97th too.
Hope Nicky Laws injury isn't too serious. He seemed to get clattered and then went off.
Oh well, still second

Agree that a point was a fair result, Exeter are a very good side so have to be happy given our recent form. It was a pretty dire first half from us but a far more entertaining second in which we played our best football since the Newport game. We are still conceding really sloppy goals and Stockley had an absolute field day against our CB's, but Gary Warren was on the bench today so hopefully he will be back in the team after the international break. Sessi picking up his fifth yellow by charging into a scuffle he had no need to get involved with was a pretty bum note to end the game on, and will be a big miss against Tranmere.

Happy with a point given our recent slump and the fact that Exeter are one of the best sides in the division.

A bit disappointed really, hoped to keep up with Lincoln and having heard about Yeovil's injury problems, thought we would win this one. I think when Yeovil get everybody back they could be decent for this division on that 2nd half performance. A point away is good on reflection, but no cartwheels from me today
