Could be a tough one - both will be determined to win as whoever wins will enter the play-offs but I reckon it will be a draw.

1-1, Tyson with our goal.

Anyone Notts fans going?

I half fancy this despite freezing my arse off for the awful JPT game. Missed Saturday as well.

No Noble again I suppose - how many games will he get this time? 1?

Not confident at all about this one but it's basically our game in hand so, bonus game.

I see Smith will be providing energy in the middle of the park tonight...

Fair play ref, ruined an interesting last ten with an utter farce of a decision. Happy with a point.

don't know what you're moaning about we should have had two penalties on the stroke of half time

Will have to see again but the one with Carroll looked like the guy was already down by the time he reached him. Classic away performance from us, absorbed pressure without allowing any real clear chances.

Chinola!!! Is that you?! The Munto heretic.

Yeah weird game, Donny fans have absolutely nothing to complain about, their team had plenty of the ball and were either too crap to do owt with it or simply couldn't get past our defence. Hollis and Mullins were both superb, less said the better about debutant White, I don't think he'll be troubling Dumbuya much for a starting role based on tonight. I thought Smith was awful, as he has been ever since Peterborough away when he was actually very good. Curtis Thompson the star man in the middle, more promise from Hayhurst and a nice cameo from Bajner...the rest? Meh. The amount of time we'd have shredded them on the break with a bit of pace only for Hayhurst to look up and see Thomas and Thompson forward and Jones ambling up the pitch was ludicrous. We're getting there going forward but we still need that pace if we're going to insist on this style away from home, which we should because we're good at it.

Seen a lot of time-wasting shouts but there really wasn't much of that, no more than your average away side who are quite happy to settle for a point at least.

The sending off was like the refereeing version of inception...a bad decision inside a bad decision inside another bad decision.
1) It wasn't a booking, he was walking off, never broke stride or stopped at any point.
2) The ref obviously showed him the card after he'd left the pitch - ignoring points 1 & 3, surely Daniels can still come on?
3) He forgot he'd booked him and set himself up. If he hasn't booked him, he never dreams of giving him another for literally doing nothing wrong. He was trying to act tough and teach a 19 year old a lesson and in the process just made himself look inept.

The most bizarre piece of refereeing I've ever seen, in isolation all 3 are snafus but when all 3 are going on at once - it's no surprise Derry exploded and the referee was left stood looking a blubbering fool in the middle of the pitch, desperately trying to claw his way out of a terrible terrible error.

BBC Sport suggest Donny had two cleared off the line and Carroll pulled off a blinder shortly after the red from Forrester. 18 shots to 3, too.

Sounds like Donny were hard done by.

sounds like...but not really.

Carroll made one really good save, the follow-up from Main, the shot cleared off the line was a tame effort from Tyson after he went round Carroll and had a really tight angle and just side-footed it to Mullins on the line. Of those 18 about 10 were blocked on the edge of the area and another 5 were 40 yard volleys. It felt like a 0-0 the entire time until things got a bit nervy in the final 10 because we were sat so deep. Bit similar to our game at Meadow Lane actually, the 0-0 earlier in the season, you just knew after about an hour that it was destined to be 0-0.

In other words, don't judge a game off BBC Sport.

Can't judge from BBC really. That save looks impressive but is a routine one that every keeper in the league should make, the clearances off the line were one that was actually a cross from Tyson and one that was blocked about five yards out. Not sure they had a single chance where I though 'he really should've scored there'.

Main's effort off the rebound but it's at his near post and Carroll gets across well and he's actually not got much of the goal to aim at. Closest either team got to scoring was Smith's 25 yard volley off the underside of the bar which kind of says it all. Two teams better defensively than going forward cancelling each other out on a freezing Tuesday night.

Hopefully we're starting to solve those issues though, I'd still like some sort of longer-term right winger and something different to Bajner, Thomas, Thompson up-front...Murray's capable of doing that but he's done nothing this season to really suggest he will.

Still exceptionally happy with how things are going and the way we're running stuff now, I didn't get to listen to Abbott's interview but it sounded great, he also hinted that Curtis Thompson got a new contract which I'd be delighted about as I've spent months disappointed that he'd be wasted as a back-up right-back all season and end up getting released.

Oh and delighted I got to go and see Bajner's debut. Wasn't meant to be going but after some clever shifting of work schedules my Dad managed to drive us up, my 3G kicked into action in the car just as the news broke, can't believe they purposely kept it secret till the last moment. Viva la Rodwell.

Nope, pretty sure that as long as the game hasn't re-started the ref can still go and correct the decision.

I vaguely remember Dennis Irwin getting nailed in a European game and in the aftermath of the challenge, the opposition player was subbed to prevent him getting a second yellow/straight red, but the ref was able to send him off.

We weren't hard done by, 0-0 was probably right. Seen Donny fans blaming their strikers but the final ball was rank all night.

I do hope after last night that Hayden White has been brought in as back up for Muzzy, looks like a trier (an aggressive one at that) but we're not exactly lacking in those.

Another hope is that we don't resort to hoofing it to Banjo, he's clearly better than that.

Just had a look at the replay, it's an absolutely horrendous dive by Coppinger.

The Thomas red card is an absolute joke and it's pathetic that we can't appeal that. He literally just leaves the pitch in the same way that just about every substitute ever has done. Our luck with red cards this season is mind boggling. Can't even imagine the uproar that would cause if it happened in a Premier League game.

He's the same ref from the Swindon game last season, when there was that brawl and he literally took 10 minutes to hand out cards. Seemed to me like nothing more than him wanting to book someone, he seemed perfectly content the way Thomas was walking off and waited until the last second to book him, if you think he's taking the piss then at least warn him, you see referees frog march players off every week. Fairplay to Dickov as well, apparently he was on the sideline telling the ref to not send Thomas or Derry off and to get on with the game.

Donny fans are really weird based off Twitter. The whole time-wasting thing is bizarre given the fact last night I turned to my Dad and said 'we're not time-wasting enough' - Carroll was taking his time over goal kicks...and? It was like an extra 4 seconds every goal kick. Just seems like frustration to me, add another 10 minutes on if you wanted, Donny still weren't going to score.

Strange how opinions differ, I can't recall seeing a side timewaste so much, so much so it was taking the piss, the 2nd yellow card was deserved IMO, he must have applauded every fan you had before veering off to hug a team mate. That said, If we did that & nicked a point I'd be delighted.

Isn't the ref supposed to add thirty seconds on for a sub? He took nothing like that. Carroll was no slower than he is when we're losing, the blokes just nuts.

We never got anything going in attack but I don't think we came with the intention of being negative - we took off a defensive midfielder for a striker with half an hour to go.

yeah, he didn't 'veer' off either, he actually ran half of it. No way at all the booking was warranted which kind of throws your other comment into doubt. You're lucky if you've never seen a team time-waste like that, it's probably the least we've time-wasted all season. We had attacking free-kicks and Donny fans were booing like it was absolutely preposterous that they should have to wait for our centre-backs to get into the box. Just this weird case of fans convincing themselves stuff was going against them and the other team was cheating...and as I said, I think that's more misplaced frustration over the utterly shite attacking play despite spending the last 20 minutes camped out in our half.
