In the miserable abscence of a thread I thought I'd start one.

Well, we're largely OK away from home if we've got a decent pair of centre backs fit and luckily we have. I note Donny have a long injury list but I've no idea if they're first team regulars or not. I'd suspect not as they're going pretty well.

It comes down to whether we can keep eleven men on the pitch as we seem to fall apart if we get a sending offf.

Based on absolutely nothing I'll go for a 1-1 draw.

Our injury list has been nothing short of a joke and mainly first team players but it looks as though Butler and Williams could be fit so only McSheffrey and McCullough missing of those likely to feature. We were appalling last week but won, I don't expect us to play that badly again.

Please keep the same team Hignett, although Cheltenham were cack we played some decent stuff and looked a lot more solid with Bates at the back and Deverdics had himself a blinder.

Really can't see us winning this, we're our own worst enemy and fall to pieces even with 11 men on the pitch, would gladly take a boring 0-0 draw.

Absolutely no chance of 0-0 we score and concede

Made very hard work of that, will have to look at the pen again, it was soft at best but looked more like a dive. Having seen it again, it was a pen, soft but a pen nonetheless

Hignett bringing on Jones for a fucking round of applause was a joke, we'd defended decently for 90 minutes setup as we were and looked set for a point against a strong side, he goes three CB's at the back and we concede a minute later. We didn't play well far from it, Donny dominated and if they were more on their game we'd of been buggered today, didn't expect anything out of this game but still can't help but feel pissed off at once again chucking points away.

Totally predictable.
Hignett is an expert at throwing away points

The big lad will have a field day with our back four.
The signing of Akinfenwa was supposed to be to use him as a sub but the rest of our strikers are so shit he keeps his place in the starting XI.

Not if Jones plays.

Providing he survives tomorrow night of course.

Where does he fit in tomorrow night though?

Unless he breaks his hip sitting down on the bench cos there's zero chance of Hignett changing up this master formation of his.

Not quite sure about that myself. We defended resolutely for most of it. Carson didn't have any more to do than their keeper. In fact, Amond probably had the two best chances of the game.

Probably the first game of the season that we haven't dominated play, though. You can see why Donny are top, but they were far from 17 places better than us.

Jones coming on was a fucking joke, and the single reason we have come away with a loss.

Our luck has to change soon, surely.

And missed them both, story of his Pools career.

You also might wanna pull up the stats, whilst pretty even in possession, we managed a piss poor total of 4 shots, 2 on target, to their 14 and 7 on target, I'd say Carson was the busier keeper by far.

I said it myself, I thought we defended really well, nowt to do with luck, just a clueless manager fucking it up.

Akinfenwa was only up here a few month ago ....he didn't seem to cause any bother
...I don't see what the fuss is about with him to be honest ....

Quite surprised they had as many as 14 shots like, can only remember Carson having to make 1 real save.

Agree on Hignett fucking it up though - solely to blame for the defeat.
