I'm treating this season like a mini league. Get the results against the six or seven teams I expect to be down there come May and we'll do just enough to keep our heads above water, I'd hope.

Of our opening fixtures Bolton would be one of those six, so were Rotherham, but Preston probably are looking a little higher with the strikeforce they have doing just enough in tight games to win the required fifteen games in a season.

I think we have a couple of injury concerns that Robbo stated he was keeping quiet about but it could mean a bit of a reshuffle. Bolton will see this game as winnable too so should make for a decent night's entertainment. Hoping that Gallagher can get off the mark tonight as I'm sure he's equipped for this level despite doubts form many of our fans. He looks to have the physique we've been craving in a front man and I'm sure he'll go on a run once he does score.

Entertaining 2-2 draw for me.

3-0 Bolton, not very confident about tonight. Also I'm at work training from 6-8 so I'm going to miss the first half and hope I can still get in.

Bolton trained at my local pitches this morning as well, what was very odd but cool.

Cracking win. 2nd half was a lot better. Potter was supreme tonight....

Where did Bolton train BCS?

A great, crucial three points but that was tough.

Bolton had us stretched for most of the first half and really should have capitalised. If a "poor" Championship team can do that to us then we're going to struggle to live with more than a handful at this level.

However, we were the ones asking the questions from half time up until the goal, and you could see a bit of belief in the lads as we started to get our rhythm. I still don't think we're anywhere near sharp and crisp enough in our passing and movement. That will come in the next few weeks, I'd hope.

We still need a decent striker. I know we can't afford lots of money but seeing Bristol City spunking 8 million on one shows how hard it is going to be for us to compete in this league.
