Plenty of changes for us since last season and the lad who made the biggest contribution on the 2nd May is nowhere to be seen (on account of him being a Col U player :) )

Nearly always tight between us in our handful of meetings and never many goals, but Preston won comfortably in our last match and looked to have pretty much put us out of the running for second spot.

Expecting it to revert to type and just the odd goal in it. Someone will nick it 1-0. Probably them if we don't sort out defending set pieces.

Absolutely gutted we missed out on 2nd, resulting in one of the best days of my life
I'm gutted you missed out on second as the MK Dongs would have bottled the play offs and we would not have to put up with a Franchise scum in this league.

Preston will probably win by a goal or 2 we don't have the goalscorers up front like preston do sadly! I will be playing preston supporters team in the morning and will have a chat & laugh with them as always

Used to play for North End's when they first started out when I was about 17, good set up there these days and its a decent standard of football.

It's also being shown live on the Bein Sports US channel, weirdly.

There are numerous streams online that are easy enough to find.

Thanks for the tip on getting a stream as I'm currently in Wellington NZ. Do you need a NA IP address to access?

Sadly that is true, still doesn't change the fact your club are a moral disgrace.

This lot have never beaten us so i'm hoping that can continue, Grayson seems to have the edge over that fat, scouse c*** lately and they couldn't cope with our physicality and pressing in our last meeting. Obviously past records mean nothing though and they gave Rotherham a bit of a pasting on Saturday.

Think Beckford is back in contention for this one but i'm not sure if he will start, Bailey Wright came off pretty early last night but I haven't heard anything about him being injured so he should be available. Garner, Welsh, Johnson, Clarke and Gallagher were all rested against Crewe so will make a return for this one.

Pickford
Clarke, Huntington, Wright
Vermijl, Welsh, Johnson, Cunningham
Gallagher
Garner, Keane

Kirkland, Woods, Humphrey, Browne, Kilkenny, Hugill, Beckford

Harsh leaving Brownhill off the bench after his performance and goal last night but if we only have two midfielders on there, I think he will be the one to miss out. Possibly Humphrey in place of Vermijl who is still getting up to fitness.

Got a good feeling about this one, which probably means we will get dicked.

Hopefully the fact we won't have half our team out for this game should mean we do better this time, but I'm still not confident

Exaggerating much?

Why are you getting so angry on Twitter about Grayson saying both teams will know each other's strengths and weaknesses?

The biggest problem for us last time we played was Ian McLoughlin was in goal. He's so bad we've released him and he's had one trial, with Bristol Rovers, and even they rejected him.

Even though the much better David Martin will be in goal I still think we will get convincingly beat 3-0. No bother I get £20 of a fellow Dons fan if we lose.

Also Walkey, none of us give a shit that you hate us. Do you seriously think we are bothered about some random blokes from Sheffields view? Why are you getting all mardy in this thread and not the Rotherham one?

I'm really fucking happy we got promoted, especially if it pisses you off.

Very surprised the MK fans are so negative after a 4-1 win away from home and two last minute goals to win a cup tie.

I think you are just better than us, we will be stronger in areas we were weaker last season but we are also weaker where we were stronger.

It's about the fact that none of us have seen anything yet to suggest this side is better than the one that finished last season. The jury is very much out on the two strikers (Church & Gallagher) and the man with the task of filling Dele's boots, didn't have the best of games up at Rotherham.

The head to head with you guys is shocking. Tight games in the main, but you've always been the sort of side we've struggled against home or away. Solid defensively, and never leave us gaps to exploit with plenty of pace and power up front to catch us on the break if we do control the possession.

Pipe down you illiterate little bitch, it could be any club I despise if they cheated their way to a league place unfairly.

Hopefully you'll come to Sheffield and I'll buy you a pint to prove it isn't personal.

It's not cheating if the authorities agreed to it.

Also I appreciate the offer, but I don't drink and I doubt I'll be able to go your place this season unfortunately.

Might not have Clarke or Wright. Our defending still won't be as bad as Rotherhams though.

Well it's Preston so it will either be a draw or a 0-1. Probably the last team I would have picked as the first home game. (Sure it's vice versa too as their first away trip)

Missing Dele and having Cole up front killed us in the last game.

And having to play McLoughlin

Oh yeah, Ian played as well.

That game was total rewind to the backend of 2013/2014 where I was attending games knowing we wouln't win. Makes that run we went on even more remarkable really.
