A first league meeting, although we beat them in a league cup game a couple of seasons back.
Both teams looking at it as winnable, should make for a decent game. Jordan Rhodes has terrorised us in the past and will definitely give Rovers the edge if he plays (fitness doubt, I hear?). We need to start strongly and put away a chance or two for once, as I fear we'll struggle with set pieces. Hopefully a hatful of goals against Didcot in a Berks & Bucks cup game has given one or two of our misfiring strikers a morale boost if nothing else. Add that to the fact that Sam Gallagher finally managed a goal for England U20's last week and Churchy was part of Wales' Euro qualification success, then hopefully there's a bit of spring in their steps.
Biggest injury doubt seems to be Potter, who we'll miss, but Brighton loanee Forster-Caskey has been decent alongside Diego Poyet, so no need to rush him back if he's not ready. Carruthers is back from suspension but I don't see any need to break up the midfield partnership.
Entertaining game. 2-1 either way.
