OK, just bought a Radio Times and the Potter films appear to be on the telly
And there's a lot of them, but not nearly as many as Dale v "Don't call us Chezzy" fixtures in the average League 1 season. In fact, nearly as many as Star Wars films...
Part 1 (A New Hope?) was a confidence.building League Cup win during our stuttering start to the season.
Part 2 (The.Emspire Strikes Back?) was a Tinpot.Cup wakeup call, where profligate finishing, doughty defence by, in particular, Allinson (the goalie with nowt tekken out) and the usual not waiting for written permission before scoring by Evans led to an unexpected away win.
Part 3 is hopefully not the Return of the Chedi. If Dale play properly, and treat their opponents with respect, they'll win. If not, then we'll be punished by a team of solid pros, with a reasonably sensible manager, who seem to be defying the off the pitch goings on at Salty McGateface (or whatever its called these days) and making a reasonable fist of staying up.
4-1 to Dale, with two very late goals making the scoreline more flattering than it seems...
