Sutton 3 Swindon 1

A relatively comfortable win for Sutton today. Lakin with an early goal in the first half, a strange Coley cross/keeper mishandle for the second just after the break and a strong Smith header from a Coley cross for the third.

4 wins on the bounce, and we’re out of the relegation zone for the first time since August.

I honestly thought Crawley were under the cosh for the first 30 minutes of the game but we were 2 up and had hit the post. Newport had to change their style as they were being picked off on the counter but by going safer they stopped threatening.

Great finish by Maguire for the 3rd. Strikers would gave been proud of it and the fourth by Campbell was a lovely goal but Newport had sort off given up by then.

Next two games are away at Mansfield and away at Wrexham. Should be easy :bl:

Hammered FGR in the second half, had two absolutely blatant penalties not given, and a goal that seemed to have crossed the line not given either. Such a frustrating day, but the damage was done in a bizarre 15 minutes in the first half.

Nah, we eased off with an eye on next Saturday. Could have gone up a gear if necessary. Probably.

Thought Eltringham reffed the game superbly.

Dropping our first choice keeper (the one who had a shocker at Stockport is the best we have) for god knows what reason and putting Marschall in goal (Villa’s kid on loan who is probably the worst keeper I have ever seen) was a terrible decision.

We are also wank away from home, draw was fair.

Wouldn't surprise me - either way it was a deserved win, I don't know what's happened to us over the last month or so but it's depressing to watch.

Seriously I was surprised at how off it you looked. Our confidence was pretty low coming into it but once we realised you weren't at it we grew into it and those 3 quick goals basically killed it. That Kirk shot didn't cross the line, hit bar and post and bounced into our keepers hands.

Think the Wimbledon manager cost them there. His subs in the last 20 minutes cost them and let us back in the game.

Whacked a fiver on us at 5/1 to win plus the results all went in our favour. A good bank holiday - I’d say we look over the line for top three and the momentum swinging back to us just at the right time for a title push.

Ah ok, we weren't in line with it - to be honest at that point in the game it was probably more due to hoping that we'd get a goal back that made me believe it had gone in. The handball shouts though... Yeah they were penalties

I think our defenders caught something of Grimsby on Friday, 2 sloppy goals given away in the 1st 10 mins and despite having most of the ball after that we didn't create enough. Whitfield scored after 89 mins and we had half chances after - but just were not gonna score again. Swindon and Bradford both at home for us next - but we probably need to win all 6 remaining games for an auto chance now.

Feel sorry for the Wimbledon fans if that is the football they serve up. It all makes sense why they see Lewis, Evans and Johnson as the galaticos.

Not in the wider interests of football to play like they do tbf.

Unlucky BARROW that was your last chance for the autos and you threw it away against fucking Morecambe of all clubs yes, some shitty minnows wrecked your chances.

2 points from his first 7 home games. Beyond embarrassing regardless of any mitigating context. He’s a more tactically inept version of Burchnall, I’m honestly terrified of the prospect of him being in charge next season.

The football they played today was the kind of football you traditionally associate with Wimbledon. Hard bastards to break down.

We're not the ones who had meltdowns over us being promoted to league one, Run in to the end of the season is spicy esp for Playoffs/Relegation, also kept Stockton quiet, All the best chipmunx for the run in

You'd think his irrelevant club were safe of relegation and not rooted to the bottom of the league lol

Great late equaliser from Notts. Successive promotions feels a little nearer, a point at Donny would be great (a win even better) but with some winnable games coming up pre-Stockport there at least feels like there is a bit of breathing room for the top 3.

1-1 v Colchester, good game for the neutral perhaps. Rovers had the best of the first half but kept level at h/t by a McGee triple save. Second half conceded a lot of ground to Colchester and poor decision making from Morris in particular, opting to go for goal with a team-mate better placed. Think Colchester have enough about them to stay up, but it will be tight.

I quite enjoyed it, chances at both ends. Two very poor teams, neither of whom looked desperate to win the game. Col U were a typical Cowley team, and for that reason alone, I hope they go down(!) The tactical injury breaks were especially annoying.

Meanwhile my sources say Gen Brannan and Pete Wild are enjoying a few cold pints of Madri Excepcional whilst throwing a few darts at an A4 print of Brunton Park after Carlisle's "live to fight another day" result this afternoon.

Conceded two uncharacteristically sloppy goals today and it felt like the game was gone in that first ten minutes. Following on from that we were on the other end of one of our typical wins.

We are missing our two best creative midfielders in our captain reeves and armani little. We had no option but to do what we did today. We don't play that way every week. Though our strength is.not conceding rather than open flowing football.

Back to Luke ball, inches away from a late winner.

Good day out today, enjoyed it despite the result. Far better than playing that disgraceful plaything just in the Blackpool area (choose up to two options).
