Feel sorry for the Wimbledon fans if that is the football they serve up. It all makes sense why they see Lewis, Evans and Johnson as the galaticos.
Also we are 16th in budget table and our best players are or were your cast offs and loanees. So what do you expect us to do away at top of league big spenders.

Happy with MK and Crewe dropping points. I'd take a draw tomorrow with Donny's form. Win would be great but very unlikely

Not sure what's more pathetic. Our current form or the fact that nobody below us looks remotely capable of taking a play-off place off us. Hilarious how poor the standard of the teams has been from 6th downwards.

I don't think anyone anticipated that score, I certainly didn't. Town were rubbish in the first half, no pace no ambition, no idea. The only mystery was that Gills took until the 41st minute to score.

Town started the second half brightly and then stepped up a gear when Cornelius and Odoh replaced Dooley and Sivi. So it wasn't a surprise when O'Connor scored the equaliser from a wonderful Thomson pass. When Abu replaced Burrell, Gills started to collapse. Their subs Clarke, Mckenzie and Andrews just seemed to make things worse as Gills forgot they had a midfield and started to try the long ball. A couple of well worked goals from Daly followed. Clemence brought Walker on after 75 minutes but he didn't have any impact on the game. Muldoon replaced a tied looking Daly on 79 minutes. Muldoon scored a fantastic goal in the 3rd minute of extra time with Odoh rounding off a good afternoon in the sunshine with Town's 5th in the 95th minute.

Funny old game, football.

We are missing our two best creative midfielders in our captain reeves and armani little. We had no option but to do what we did today. We don't play that way every week. Though our strength is.not conceding rather than open flowing football.
I'm not having a go or anything, you had a game plan and that's what both teams ended up playing to for the vast majority of the game, we couldn't impose ourselves at all.

You were very solid and your gameplan nearly worked but given you started just outside the playoffs and with nothing to lose I’d be disappointed if I was a Wimbledon fan that you didn’t go for a little bit more.

Great result for mansfield, our pitch is a proper paddy field, and it wasn’t related at all to our injury situation

Our pitch is properly fucked, how it’s supposed to take more than 1 match a week is anyone’s guess

Typical Notts, decentish performance but still don’t win, keeps the **** of a head coach in a job for another week and just about hands Wrexham and Mansfield promotion.

Great day’s work lads.

Great day’s work lads.

You’ve a proper pitch compared to the circus of the pitch we’ve got here, but the eyes of mansfield of went up when you got the last minute equaliser, cheers.

Mansfield were never expected to be top 3 anyway but to keep it going as we’ve had is remarkable

Missing ronan curtis, reeves and little. That's our midfield. We were never gonna be expansive.

What were Mansfield expected to be Adam? Top 5? Top 7?

Do they still give prizes out for the best pitch in the EFL? If so we've gotta be in with a good shout.

Carpet.

Unlucky BARROW that was your last chance for the autos and you threw it away against fucking Morecambe of all clubs yes, some shitty minnows wrecked your chances.

Not so smug now are you?

oh dear, Carver, you'll be getting another ASBO for insulting and abusing both your lovely neighbours for no real reason.

Summat up?

Draw about fair. The Dons were hard running, one of the better teams I've seen this season.
We were much more aggressive and in yer face but, as always we conspired to throw away a lead.
Maynard put on Bostock which was a terrible decision, took away all our momentum.
Jatta with a full pre season is going to be Langstaffesque in goals scored. He's five in five and done in after an hour.

Flew out today, so first time back in England for years I manage to catch men against boys home to County rather than one of our few high scoring wins of the season. fml. Lovely surprise once I turned phone back on, but realistically still gone.

Garrick didn't seem up to pace Friday but apparently on it today, must have needed to get up to speed. Would be lovely if he continues to perform miracles in the run in and gives Doidge someone to make all his hard work worthwhile.

Jatta will get loads next season, he’s a proper nightmare. Bit awkward and he’ll miss sitters like that header first half, but he’s just strong and really fast and a nightmare to try and get to grips with. The difference in the standard of our recruitment between attacking players and defensive ones is mad.

Other than by basically everyone.

Why?

the bookies didn’t have us top 3
our wages didn’t have us top 3
our fans didn’t expect top 3

If other fans make expectations on something that isn’t reality? can’t do much about that

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the deal with your pitch? bad drainage? this isn't the first game you've had to postpone is it?

Even if the bookies and your wages didn’t have you top three (and I’m unsure on the latter), both had you fourth or fifth haha. Going on like you’re Harrogate Town here.

Huh? we weren’t close

County had better odds of promotion at the start of the season so of course it’s a great example of how they can get things hopelessly wrong.

The top five everywhere was Stockport, Notts and Wrexham than MK and Mansfield, no? We were always ridiculously underpriced mind haha.
