Not disputing that, just the body language is all wrong. By all means tell it like it is (some players will give their all etc.), just have a bit of energy and positivity when saying it.

Again, when you are in his situation there is nothing to show positivity about.

There is literally nothing positive at all about the situation the club is in.

Barnet have a GD of MINUS FIFTY?! That's a good effort, that.

We also had one of the best (arguably the best) GK in the league for most of those games in Scott Loach.

Until he dislocated his shoulder and we instantly furloughed him for the rest of the season.

I thought the lad looked absolutely distraught and embarrassed. Seems to care and probably a few things he wanted to say that he couldn't (although he alluded to).

Bit odd that your caretaker manager didn't bother to front up though? Poor form to send a player out like that, irrespective of the fact he's a fitness coach thrust into a role he's not qualified for. He's the guy in the hotseat, take the bullets for the players.

I would like to see this and, for probably the first this season, look to see us getting someone (Griffiths/RR/JoB/Roberts when he comes on) in the gap between their midfield and defence looking to slide the ball in behind their back line, especially as one of their CBs will be the giant Diarra, who I’m guessing may have the turning circle of the Ever Given. Let’s get a man playing on the shoulders of their defence.

The only issue is the above mentioned Diarra and the other threats from set pieces mean we may plump for Sam simply because of his height, not that he is particularly great in the air.

Glad I called this - we must have got in behind Woking more yesterday than in all our games put together this season. Credit where it is due to Burchnall.

What could the coach have said after that performance that would mean anything? He should never have been in that situation in the first place and to have been left there for this number of matches is absurd. Far more use in a club favourite speaking something different than the coach.

Mentions stupid sending offs, should of got a red for an awful challange at 5-1 down.

Funniest part of the game for me on 89 minutes, the ball goes out for a Barshit goal kick. The keeper jogs over to get it but a Barshit defender kicks it to the corner flag to time waste.
Barshit:ffs:

Bobsleigh guy should have stepped up. Could easily have talked about needing to see the video of the red card, which changed the course of the game, and how disappointed he was that heads dropped etc etc.

Someone must have conceded over 100 goals in the NL before? Anyone know the record?

Think Hyde still have have record. Conceded 119 goals in their relegation season back in 2013-14. Ended up with a goal difference of minus 80 odd.

With 13 games remaining, we can give Hyde a real run for their money.

Hyde played 46 games so 109 is the target for us over a 42 game season. -74 GD is also very much achievable.

Finally some excitement in the season!

Hyde were a weird one because despite how terrible they were as a team, they were still fairly entertaining. They knew they weren't good enough as a group but went into games trying to play some half decent attacking football.

Hyde were the worst team of all time and we still drew with them at home.
We absolutely murdered them in both games that season:

Because im a masochist i rewatched the highlights of our 2-2 Hyde game. I'd forgotten the details only remembering that no other game has made me so angry. The referee gave Hyde two penalties and sent Harris off. The sending off was the right decision but both penalties were dubious, and the first one was a foul on our player (Ormerod I think).

We were terrible that season, massive play off failure hangover. Also no defence, we played a comedy French man who appears to have never played football before- he actually scored in this game! The season that ended Andy Morrell's Wrexham managerial career.

I remember the game, I remember Harris’ red card for kicking out and fans APPLAUDING him off. I quickly got into an argument when I asked why the fuck someone was clapping him off when he’d stupidly got himself sent off :fing:

Sorry I forgot how successful Halifax have been.

We'd been in the play offs final (and won the trophy) in the previous season.

We got 98 points the season before that, lost to Luton again in the Play Offs after a bad first leg down there.

We were in the play offs the season before that as well losing to Luton in the semis.

Congratulations, was that the same season that you got a bit confused with how the play off system worked and thought that by winning the home leg of your play off semi final 1-0 that you automatically won promotion to the Football League?
