EFL competition changes

EFL Cup:

-No extra time, straight to penalties.
-The ABBA shootout format abandoned.
-All rounds unseeded however I believe regionalisation remains in the early rounds.
-VAR at PL grounds.
-Starts a week later than usual (although this could just be a date thing, rather than intentional)

EFL Trophy

-No ABBA format either.
-A meeting was held on the “direction of travel” over U23 teams.

But to be honest, the most important change for me this season, and it’s been a long time coming, is that FA Cup prize money will be more than doubled.

Whatever rules they bring in it won't stop my team being knocked out in the 1st round.

Can't remember last time we won a cup tie, must be over 10 years ago.
