Very comfortable 3-0 win over crystal palace’s kids team tonight. Sho-Silva, Smith and Korboa with the goals.

40 year old club legend Craig Dundas came off the bench for his professional debut tonight.

Well, if no-one else wants to win this thing we might as well have a pop...

Beat the Red Scouselets 4-0, with a team containing 8 changes from last Friday's starting XI.

Apparently, after a shaky start, Liam Kelly curled a loose ball in from 25 yards then after half time Corey O'Keeffe (2) and Josh Andrews completed the rout, with young sub Ethan Brierley smacking one against the bar with the last kick of the game.

1,107 there (not including me) of whom 223 were from Liverpool.

A most interesting 1-1 drawn game. Both teams intent on winning match.
FGR better 1st half but Northampton upped their game in 2nd.
Their goalkeeper 'SuoerTed' Maxted always plays out of his skin against his former club. I don't think FGR have ever beaten him since he left club.
Northampton won game on penalties but the FGR 12-year-old kids won the battle of banter. They silenced the Northampton supporters until last 1/4 hour.
Remarkably the match officials had same coloured shirt as away team. !!!!

Glad I went.

Lost 3-0 to Lincoln. Lincoln were far, far better in every single respect. Men against boys for the majority of the 90 minutes, especially in the second half. They'll be disappointed they didn't score another three.

So your username was a toss up between Casey and Judith then?
Nah, Jim was taken and it wouldn't let me have Judith. Sad as I have the legs to work the stocking and high heels.

Lost 6-1 tonight. Injury to another centre half. That's 3 of the five at the club injured. The other one was on the bench but he has viral fatigue from covid so he couldn't come on (I presume he has tested negative after the infection).

The second away game on the bounce we have let in six goals! You could see and hear the grief in John Yems' interview. Trouble is the cash box is empty so no experienced/good players likely to join so we are in trouble until the injuries clear up.

In other news after playing in the game tonight James Tilley has joined Dorking Wanderers on a 28 day loan.

We changed as much as we could with the limited numbers available (only 13 senior players available last weekend at Oxford). No game for us this weekend either due to international call-ups for us and Rotherham so Bridcutt, Bishop and Scully for example probably wouldn't have played otherwise.

It was a decent game to get minutes into a fair few of the squad because we've had a right mish-mash of a pre-season.

All three of those were excellent. Think it was Bishop who hit the bar in the first half. One of your standouts was, err, Brammall? Think that's his name. I think every Lincoln player played well though to be fair. How come you've started so poorly in the league though, Luke? The mish-mash pre-season maybe? Certainly be up there with performances like that.

A tad ott there although it was second half it felt like we gave up which is a worry after Orient. First half though we had 3 good chances we really should have scored, Cook with his attempt in the top corner which was a decent save but should have hit it better, then he fluffed one six yards out and Gilliead had one cleared off the line with the whole goal to win at. They scored with their only two shots on target first half, they were far more clinical but the first half could easily have been different. Total shit second half though.

I kid you not we played a striker, and a young midfielder in CB together tonight.

Clough came out afterwards and although he didn’t need to say it, he confirmed he don’t give a shit about this competition.

I'd have to see Cook's first strike again but didn't think it was that much of a chance. Lavery might have done better with his chance in the second half and Foulds should have scored his. I'm just worried that we don't seem to be capable of taking these opportunities when they come our way.

At one stage tonight we were one nil down and get a penalty, within 10 seconds of taking the penalty we were two nil down, you couldn’t make it up.

finished losing 3-1 with both sides making 9 changes from Saturday’s game.

Harrogate just bullied our young lads, men vs boys.

I agree with this, we’re often woeful in front of goal although it’s better than creating nothing like against Orient. Even in the shooting warm ups I sit in the kop and feel in danger, it’s seemed to be the way for years except for the odd player.

Watched most of the game last night as its included in the ifollow season pass.

Cracking game to be fair, not a fan of the trophy but at least you can play your reserves and get them game time.

Verdict? Some of the back ups don't look up to scratch, Martin Smith, Lawlor, Ogle looks a distance from starting. Molyneux excellent, Fella Olomola dangerous at times, Hendrie did alright. Can't fault the work rate but very sloppy at the back. Odusina seems to be off the boil again.

Injuries. We've been without 5 of our starting XI. Last weekend at Oxford we had no fit strikers so played 4-6-0 and it didn't work. Narrow defeat to Bolton, very poor against Wycombe albeit could have had a point.

Bramall, yeah. LB, signed from Colchester in January. He's had to play as an emergency winger because of lack of numbers.

We're weaker than last season, though. We were spoilt with two or three loan signings that we always going to be nigh on impossible to replace. We'll be ok one we get players back but we're not a L1 PO side this season IMO.

Late finish for us last season because of the PO's so at this point, we're in that end of pre-season stage for fitness and niggly injuries that keep people out for two weeks or so.

We beat Plymouth 2-0, both fielding young sides. Far from giving senior players a chance to redeem themselves after two shockers, we included two loanees signed only on the day and I had literally never heard of four of the subs. Dom Telford, sidelined while our forwards have been failing to score, scored a superb goal and forced two great saves.

Ferguson was definately on the boil, He certainly was a nasty side when required.
Ogle has a great engine on him, just needs DC to work his magic on him and he could
End up like Kitching (now what ever happened to him) . Not fussed on players who don,t
Acknowledge a coaches influence.
Fela really dangerous.

He does, a bit rough around the edges but potential there. Still a way off starting games for me. Probably loan him out to the NL in Jan.

Fela,s holdup play was pretty good, If only he had cut across the defender when through.
