Elland Road- Leeds United AFC Ground Guide
How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
The ground is visible off the motorway and easily signposted from there. The station is in the city centre so a fair way away.
If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
Ive always used to official parking right next to the ground, which to be fair, is very well managed at getting the crowds away after the game. Last time I went though, my mate showed me there is lots of free street parking on Gelderd Road, about a 10 minute walk from the East Stand that was handy for getting out too.
Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
Ive been to Elland Road 4 times and sat in 3 different away ends! To be fair, all of them are just about okay. The 'Cheese Wedge' and South Stand are both relatively unobscured, if a tight on the legroom! The West Stand has the worst view of the lot despite being down the side, but then Ive seen worse.
If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Never ate in the ground. Interesting to note though that they do have vending machines, which is a brilliant idea Im surprised more clubs havent thought of.
How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
There has never been that good a crowd on when Ive been, and as such the atmosphere has always been a little disappointing. Best was unsurprisingly the League Cup game when they beat us 2-1.
How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
Never really gone in any of the places near the ground, as Leeds can be a little bit unwelcoming depending on the opposition. Stayed in the city centre last time I went.
Overall Score Out of 10?
I always feel its a little underwhelming, think its just because of that big East Stand being so oversized. Its not terrible though.
6/10
