There is no pressure on us going into this game. Never was, and there still isn't.

Obviously winning on Saturday has boosted confidence in the squad, and play to our strengths, work hard and keep composed, we can get something out of this game. We've beaten better sides than England in the last 18 months or so.

Belgium (arguably). Who else? You've failed to beat every other decent side you've played in that time.

It depends on whether you consider Israel, who were top of the group at the time remember, decent or not.

Quite nervous about this game, Wales are nothing special and have 2 players who we should really be concerned about, but they will be well up for it and are likely to sit deep. England seem to struggle when it comes to breaking teams down through a lack of creativity and Roy being too slow to change the game. I'd have no problem starting with the same team that played Russia off the park first half, but if it's not working he must change far earlier and utilize the amount of attacking options he has picked. A win here and I think we're pretty much through, a draw and there's huge pressure on us to beat Slovakia who are no push overs. I can see us sneaking a 1-0 win through a Rooney penalty.

I'm confident too, to be honest. Little niggle in the back of my mind as at the end of the day, we are England, and we never do anything easy... but if I was to write a prediction here I'd say 2-0.

I'm glad some people are confident, I've woken up this morning convinced we're going to lose.

I'm actually quite scared I'm gonna sleep through it. Wouldn't that be a prick.

If England get an early goal, I think we'll go on to win by a couple.
If Wales score first, it'll be a test to see how much bottle our boys have.
Apart from Bale's free-kick, he didn't do very much against Slovakia, (a la Ronaldo v Iceland). We have a young fit team, put someone in Bale's pocket for the whole game. If he goes for a shit, so does his marker. (Oh, just read that Hodgson isn't going to man-mark Bale).
My heart says 2-0 England. My head……not so sure.

No.

Fancy claiming a side that didn't even qualify are a 'better side than England'.

If England can pick themselves up and play like they did on Saturday they will win. 2-0 or 3-1 is my prediction.

What the fuck is wrong with you people? If England don't beat Wales they shouldn't be allowed back into the country.

No disrespect.

Pissing down in Lille but looking forward to a straightforward win. The Welsh are a Championship team plus Bale and Ramsay.

I'd be very disappointed if we don't play 2 strikers today.

Another 1-1.

Whatever happens.... please don't start 4-3-3 Roy. I can't get my head around him picking a side to accomadate the only winger in the squad who is terribly out of sorts.

I'll be much more confident if he elects to go with 2 up top.

After all the build up, an easy win for England after learning our lesson against Russia. Bale and Ramsey to have a quiet game.

2-0 and top of the group with one game to go.

I'd be more than happy to see us setup exactly as we did against Russia.

I wouldn't, I just can't get my head around it.

I'm not disputing that we didn't play well (in the first half) and should have been out of sight at half time against a very poor Russian side, but he picked that squad to play a narrow midfield and two up top - and suddenly, a poor game against Portugal (which we still won) and he's completely changed the system. It's baffling.

Playing anything other than a diamond midfield with two up top given the form and make up of our squad would be astoundingly bad management.

Long as we keep shape and solid this should be easy. They'll be motivated, but literally a one man team in terms of the attack.

Kane looked tired last game. He needs more support for us to be more clinical.

Yeah this. I want Kane central, being the last pass. Too often he goes wide or deep to get the ball, then there's noone central. We did alright last game, despite the resullllt, there's just a few things we need to tighten up
