Ok, I've had a think about it.

The two minute rule will come into place for the first round (Q&A bit). As I'd rather people go off instinct more in that one.Game rules ammended accordingly.

However, I'm keeping the frozen out rule for the 'Who am I?' part as that bit is more about strategy and when to answer rather than all going gung ho after every single clue.

I could be speaking out of turn here since I don't know exactly what the questions are but I think the 2 minute rule works better. Reasoning is that you can make a guess for an answer and get in quicker than someone checking google. Freezing the whole team out like that makes going with a hunch or guess less appealing, and going to google more appealing.

Also, by freezing the whole team out you are effectively penalising teams that manage to get more people on for the task (and after you asked nicely to see as many of us as possible on here ). Up to you though of course Lee!

Totally agree with this. The 2 minute rule has always worked well.

Being froze out for as you say, going with a hunch seems excessively harsh.

Just in case you haven't read the rules yet or want a refresh, the two rounds tonight are below.

Get ready to.....finger blast.....

Round 1 - Q&A - 1pt per correct answer (Monday)

Straight up question and answer, fastest finger first style. First person to answer correctly in the thread wins. If you give an incorrect answer, you are frozen out for two minutes before being allowed to answer again. 6 questions here so 6 points available to ease us into the game.

Round 2 - Who am I? (Monday)

In this round you will receive 5 clues about a player, manager, nation or stadium. After the first clue is given, there will be 5 points available for a correct answer. Each clue that is given will see the points decrease by 1. So after the 2nd clue, the question will then only be worth 4 points. And so on....until we get to clue 5 with the question worth just 1 point.

You can decide whether you want to gamble and give an answer for 5 points but be warned that your whole team will be frozen out of the question if you buzz in with a wrong answer. Up to you how you play it. 6 questions in this round so a lot of points potentially available depending when you buzz in.
