Pointless: Tom Heaton, Ryan Bertrand, Gary Cahill.

Most of the kids seemed to start off with the goalkeeper which is why I think Hart did so well here. Surprised not one person said Gary Cahill. Thought Vardy would have got a few more but there are a few kids who are definite FIFA players and he probably doesn’t feature prominently on there.

We’re quite a diverse school so Romania was a favourite for some of the Eastern European kids. The rest kind of went as expected. A couple of kids really impressed me with getting countries like Slovakia.

We’re based in East London. There’s a lot of West Ham fans here. Spurs are quite popular as well but a few of the less knowledgelable kids couldn’t remember Pochettino’s name. Ranieri was riding the title winning wave whilst there are no surprises in the 3 pointless ones. Even I’d forgotten who Watford’s new manager was.

Fifa dominating again with the two Spanish giants nearly getting a full house. Well impressed with the one kid who said PSV and Wolfsburg as his first two answers. He then let himself down though by saying Dynamite Cave and I weren’t giving him that.

Diego Costa – 3
Odion Ighalo – 2
Troy Deeney – 2

Bit baffled how Vardy got more here than in question 1 but it seems some kids associate him more with the Premier League than with England. Arsenal fans were out in force for Giroud. Again, a couple with good knowledge got Deeney and Ighalo as a pair which stopped there from being any pointless answers.

Final Leaderboard:
Olsen - 585
Casillas - 568
Deschamps - 566
Gullit - 552
Klinsmann - 537
Zagorakis - 535

Advantages will be revealed when I post the final game task, which will be up after France vs Iceland. Zagorakis probably best finishing last as they'd just forget to use their advantage anyway. :shifty:

Appointed on FA cup day so a while back.

Had the Swansea or Boro bloke as well
I wasn't saying yours was wrong or anything.

I thought he was appointed recently, must have been announced on FA Cup Day or something.

I asked most of the questions in the week beginning Monday 23rd May before half term. He was appointed just before that. The only one I asked after half term close to the tournament was approaching was the England squad one as it wasn't finalised before half term.

Week 4

Gullit: France 1-0 England 4 POINTS
Deschamps: France 1-1 England 1 POINT
Klinsmann: France 1-0 England 4 POINTS
Olsen: France 1-1 Iceland 2 POINTS

Zagorakis - 23
Deschamps - 21
Gullit - 21
Casillas - 16
Olsen - 14
Klinsmann - 11

Olsen are really going to need their edits to come into play here or else they may leave themselves too much to do. 3 big games to go as the points increase.

Week 5

Gullit:
Possession more than 60.5% (7 points) - France 7 POINTS

Predict a line up 1-11 (pt per correct player) – Iceland
Hannes Thor Halldorsson, Birkir Mar Saevarsson, Kari Arnason, Ragnar Sigurdsson, Ari Freyr Skulason, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Aron Gunnarsson, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Birkir Bjarnason, Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson 11 POINTS

Deschamps
Fouls (pts per foul) - Iceland. 11 POINTS
Corners (pts per corner) - France. 4 POINTS

Klinsmann

Goals conceded more than 1.5 (7 points) - Iceland

Casillas
Goals scored more than 1.5 (7 points) - France
Predict a line up 1-11 (pt per correct player) – Iceland (JOKER)
Hannes Thor Halldorsson, Birkir Mar Saevarsson, Kari Arnason, Ragnar Sigurdsson, Ari Freyr Skulason, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Aron Gunnarsson, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Birkir Bjarnason, Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson 22 POINTS

Leaderboard after Iceland line ups added
Casillas - 47 points (5 overall points)
Zagorakis - 43 points (4 overall points)
Olsen - 42 points (3 overall points)
Gullit - 40 points (2 overall points)
Klinsmann - 33 points (1 overall point)

Deschamps - 29 points (0 overall points)

Zagorakis will be kicking themselves that they forgot both jokers as they had a fantastic round but missed out on top spot courtesy of forgetfulness. Casillas step in with a canny Iceland joker to nick first place.

Overall table - week 4/6

1) Team Zagorakis - 17

2) Team Olsen - 14
3) Team Gullit - 13
4) Team Casillas - 11
5) Team Klinsmann - 4
6) Team Deschamps - 3

Zagorakis will be very happy right now but their performance in the final advantage task means they are going to have to win it the hard way with the final game task if they want to secure the victory. Gullit, Olsen and Casillas will be chasing hard. And remember, we have a double points week still in the process that could shape the table yet.

At the other end, the battle for the wooden spoon is on between Klinsmann and Deschamps. Both teams have been trading mockery and insults since the first day of this game. Who will emerge with some pride?

Final Game Task rules are coming up!

Game week 6 - Dream Team round

The final task. You have to create a dream team consisting of 11 players for the final 3 matches. You can spend up to £50 million.

Some important things to note:
There is no limit on the number of players you choose per nation.

You are only allowed to make any transfers you have between the end of the semi final stage and beginning of the final (see advantages for more details)

You can make one player your captain before the two semi finals. This is allowed to be changed once after the two semi final matches. Making a player captain gives them double points.

You can choose between the following formations to set your team up in: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 5-4-1, 5-3-2,

Advantages
The advantages gained this week are the amount of transfers you can make between semi final and final rounds.

Olsen - 5 transfers
Casillas - 4 transfers
Deschamps - 3 transfers
Gullit - 2 transfers
Klinsmann - 1 transfers
Zagorakis - 0 transfers

When making transfers, you are allowed to transfer for a different position providing that it means you are moving to another valid formation (for instance, transferring a striker out to bring in a midfielder, might mean you’re moving from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1).

Scoring rules

Inside the spoiler tags are how the players you choose can score points.
Goalkeepers
Goal scored by a goalkeeper (not in a penalty shootout) 20
Goalkeeper not conceding while on pitch (must play at least 60 minutes) 4

Midfielders

Midfielder not conceding while on pitch (must play at least 60 minutes) 1

Forwards
Goal scored by a forward 4

All positions
Featuring in a game 1

For each assist 3
Earning a penalty 2
Conceding a penalty -1

So here's what we have up for grabs tonight:

Gullit: Croatia 1-1 Belgium (0 POINTS)
Deschamps: Croatia 2-1 Wales
Klinsmann: Croatia 2-1 Belgium (0 POINTS)
Olsen: Croatia 2-1 Belgium (0 POINTS)
Zagorakis: Portugal 1-1 Belgium
Casillas: Croatia 1-1 Belgium (0 POINTS)

Zagorakis use their final edit. It means the two leaders gain at least one point on everybody. Can they gain 3 more with a correct result?

Deadline for the squads are 7pm tonight. I'll post them up midway through the Wales game when I'm back from tennis.

Zagorakis - 41
Deschamps - 30
Olsen - 22
Casillas - 22
Gullit - 19
Klinsmann - 4

Zagorakis take a commanding lead, thanks to Ronaldo and their Portuguese defenders. It's also a strong start for Deschamps, as they still have their captain to play. At the other end, Klinsmann will be hoping for lots of goals tonight after a poor start yesterday.

At this stage, three teams (Zagorakis, Olsen and Casillas) have seen their captains play, with the other three to come.
