Poor first 30 minutes from Everton but they finish the half the stronger. Gonna need a couple in this second half IMO

Everton taking a vital lead to Ukraine potentially.

Seville doing well at Villarreal.

All Italian tie level as probably predicted.

Tough game tonight in Kiev 70000 tickets sold with Everton taking 900. Can see them scoring so I think we'll play on the counter. No Mirallas which is a big loss.

The lad i've been to a few with this season has gone and said it is a very weird place but he loves it. 80p a pint may help this though...

Gutted Im not there, just praying we get through and dont get anymore bloody Russians or Ukrainians next round!

I fancy both of us to score tonight, cant see it being a 0-0 or 1-0 either way. We've set up very well to counter away from home in Europe so far, but then we're still pretty terrible at the back.

Interestingly, if we get the same result in as in any of our away games in Europe so far, we will go through (1-1, 0-0, 2-0 and 4-1) while Kiev have won all of their home games by at least 2 goals, which would also see them through!

2 absolute worldies. 1-1. Lukaku has been on fire in the past month or so.

Roma 3-0 down at home to Fiorentina. Their season has quickly turned to a nightmare.

Bob Martin's sides simply do not understand defending. Alcaraz is a Championship level defender at his best.

Edit: Scrap that, he wouldn't get in a Conference side.

Kyiv will shut up shop now surely. Though I don't think they play a defensive game, they now don't need to take any chances. That 3rd goal has likely fucked it for 'em.

Pretty disastrous given the money involved.
Agreed. Thankfully Germany haven't done that much better than us so I imagine we should still be okay coefficient wise.

Ive updated it a couple of times but it reset when the forum lost data!

That was fucking awful. I said before kick off I didnt like the lineup. Leaving Stones out for Alcaraz was criminal. Its not like Alcaraz has been playing well in Stones' absence, he nearly cost us the tie in the first leg gifting that backpass to Mbokani! Three of those goals, he has cost us, and that was the difference. As bad as we played, we were always well in it, had a few chances, hit the post twice, should have had a pen. But ultimately, the decision to pick that clown at the back has been the deciding factor. You win a first leg 2-1, and score 2 away goals in the second leg, you shouldnt be going out. Defensively, we have been a shambles all season long, and that has cost us again tonight. Martinez must take the blame for that, when he is constantly picking an out of form over the hill goalkeeper, and picks a dopey lower league standard defender over one of the best in England.

De Bruyne is a worldie. How could he not get a game at Chelsea?

14 goals and 22 assists in 37 games for Wolfsburg this season. 9/16/25 in the Buli. He's two-footed, times his passes brilliantly, and his athleticism is much better than traditional playmakers, allowing him to attack effectively in a variety of styles - similar to the subtle speed and agility of Özil or Isco.

What was the point of showing Inter v Wolfsburg and Sevilla v Villarreal tonight?

Torino v Zenit and Besiktas v Brugge would have been the better choices.
