Only Villa (W2 D4 L12) have a worse home record than Everton (W4 D5 L8). They haven't lost 9 home games in a season since 1993/94.

Bournemouth have picked up more points away (22) than at home (19).

Level on points, safely midtable, both sides are in sketchy form. Everton without a win in seven and Bournemouth with four defeats in their last five. Does anyone really care?

We've still sold virtually all the allocation for this nothing game, and I'll be jounting up there for my first Goodison visit. Looking forward to my wonderful view of a pillar or something, but an old fashioned ground is a rare treat these days.

Hopefully it's the weekend that survival becomes mathematical.

We've been decent away from home most of the season, certainly better than at home, and Everton have their problems. We saw how brittle they can be at that ridiculous game here at Dean Court, one of the more memorable days of this season. Funes Mori their most competent looking defender that day, is now suspended. We also came together in the Cup and we lost that one, missing a penalty in the process. Both teams made changes aplenty so hard to overly judge that.

For all Everton's problems, we're not exactly robust ourselves either. We concede plenty, often from daft errors. I'm certain Lukaku will score if he's fit.

A both teams to score bet is nailed on for me.

Can't say we're playing particularly well, but doing enough at the moment. Stupid soft goal to concede but our goal also seemed soft. I'm uneasy at the ease of which Everton get from half way to our box, need a bit more steel in that area.

Well I'm not sure we deserved that. Everton somewhat fortunate, but to be honest our final ball was always a touch lacking. That Afobe header that grazed the bar was as close as we came second half. Worth a draw but not to be today.

Baines with thr winner and he was generally pretty decent all game. Wasn't happy to see Lukaku come on and he helped keep us back by giving Everton an outlet. Always looked frightening.

A stay of execution for Martinez I guess?

Goodison running Stamford Bridge very close for our quietest ground of the season award...I'll need to mull that one over, its a close call. The silence possibly said more in the way of Everton unhappiness than any songs of protest.

Two games left for us, let's hope we can get something out of them. Our form to end the season ain't great.

I wouldn't have complained if Bournemouth equalised, Everton were very poor once again. Can't see Martinez surviving the summer. First time I've seen us win a game and it feels like a draw
