If he’d pulled up when Madden was ripping his shirt off Madden would have been off.

Madden’s got away with one there because the lad decided to wander into the box and then dive. Should really have been a second yellow for the massive shirt pull.
Madden is garbage, should have gone.

Tell ya what, I can’t wait for the Jamie Grimes vs Ash Palmer battle on set pieces when we play Stockport this season

Yeah Madden looks pants, Quigley however.. if he plays every league game in this kind of mood Stockport won’t be far away. He’s been very good

Weird how often this happens, Bolton had offered absolutely nothing for basically an hour, now they’ve conceded they suddenly look really dangerous again.

I think at 2-0/3-1 we thought it was won and just sat back. Extra time was not what we needed. We already have a few injuries and a pretty light squad.

Back news for Stockport, this. I don’t know who they are playing on Saturday, but heavy defeat incoming.

Woking away.

We can make a few changes but we have no Quigley replacement which is the worry.

Gotta applaud Quigley tonight, he’s looked a level above every player on the pitch

Quigley is proper feast or famine, every time I’ve seen him he’s either a monster like this or absolutely hopeless, pretty much a 50/50 split. Great finish.

I don't think you ever thought it was won, even at 2-0 you could see it in their faces, they're just kids!

Apart from the first five minutes, Stockport have been the better side.
this match has been very reminiscent of our tie against Brentford back in 18/19.

Would it be too much of a stretch to say this high energy, dynamic stuff from Stockport is being massively helped by Rooney not playing?

Certainly be interesting to see what chally does with Rooney. He was always banging on about intensity when he was with us. You worked your arse off without the ball. Apart from sir Danny Rowe obviously

He played in the last two games and while we weren’t as good as tonight we still played well.

I don’t think Sarcevic and Rooney in the same team will work going forward though. They are too similar.

Alex Reid is such a low IQ footballer - with Quigley off we’re going to struggle to keep the ball up top.

Croasdale has played well. It seems the majority of Stockport fans don’t like him, going off twitter and I don’t know why. Just plays the simple game and keeps you ticking over
