I staggered up the hill to Aggborough after drinking at the Beer Festival in Kidderminster to discover (along with 920 other Town fans) that we were playing a back three with wing backs as an experiment. It didn't work to well.

I was surprised at that 5 back system. You were clearly technically better but I think we just wanted it more. We didn't stop pressing for the whole game and forced you to go long to Taylor who looked isolated up top.

Zak Brunt worked up by the big occasion of playing against his home town club. Clown

Having seen the highlights I think Brunt might have his overturned. Niggly challenge on Miller in the first place but not a red, and didn’t see him raise his hands to Miller’s face either, just shoves him. Looks like Miller pushes him in the neck/face with two hands though, so he hasn’t got much of a leg to stand on.

Pretty much confirmed by James Rowe that we won't be appealing it. A good chance for Alex Whittle to stamp his claim on the LWB role.

Went to the highlights for a look at the red card, stayed for Southend’s missed penalty. Into orbit.

I can't decide if I agree or not. I think you could call it violent conduct maybe, the kid knows what he's doing, balls long gone and he's made sure he's gone into Millers back with his elbow. It's petulant and mardy, probably because i think Miller gave them hell all game down that side. It was maybe what I'd call a yellow and half if there was such a thing, but I'm not sure there's enough there to overturn anything. Millers reaction is just bloody stupid though, the best thing to do there is just to go down and let the lad get his punishment. Rowe stormed down the tunnel after him apparently

Brunt finally realised he's playing for a shit non league club on a downward trajectory towards relegation. No wonder he wants to get sent off. A dawning realisation that he's found his level and he's still not that good.

The reality is if Brunt doesn't go in like he did on Miller none of that happens. His dad can piss right off an all.

I hope the viewing figures for tomorrows game are terrible after Salford were picked yet again. Even though we narrowly made it into round two, I would rather catch my man privates in my zipper than watch that scum.

Tim Howard vs class of 92 Derby.

That was one of the most bizarre games I’ve ever seen. It was a proper cup tie with both teams just going for it. Some of our build up play/goals were a joy to watch. However, some of the defending on show from both teams, mainly for Maidenheads goals was ridiculously bad. Into the next round anyway. We’ll take it.

Our 2 right backs are both injured, so we decided to put our best central midfielder, who tore Wrexham apart last week, at RB. We made a defensive loan signing on Friday, but he isn't an RB and was left on the bench all game. Needless to say most of your goals came down your left hand side.

I like Devonshire but he is prone to very silly errors like this.

I stopped reading after you wrote ‘Chesterfield 2021’, absolute waffle
Maybe you should have stopped with your own post when you wrote Halifax 2008 then?

Glad you have found a kinship with B2TF, you're both as thick as pigshit.

The Brunt / Miller incident absolute handbags after watching it back. A ref with an ounce of common sense just deals with the situation by giving both a yellow and no one bats an eyelid considering it was deep into stoppage time… but nope, these referees can’t help themselves and have to make the game about them don’t they, shame…

You still going?

You need to go and let some steam off buddy. It’s nice to know our transfer outlay has upset you this much aswell… although having come across your forum a couple of times it seems your not the only Halifax fan that has similar feelings. Has us taking Jeff King off you hurt that much?

Wouldn’t blame you tbf, he’s absolute mustard that lad

Sounds an even game at Dale, we fell behind to a nice finish from a corner just before half time. Sure we’ll give it a go second half but, and maybe it’s the Covid, I am struggling to care about this one to be honest.

Aye. Double jabbed as well, outrageous, reckon they must have a strong variant up in Grimsby. Been no worse than a heavy cold tbf, but you do get very aware of how much of a treat leaving the house is when you’re not legally allowed to do it.

Pants that mate, hope it clears up soon. Reckon I've been lucky so far but my brother in law had it a few weeks ago and it totally wiped him out. He still can't taste owt now apparently. Double jabbed too. Mad how it's so different for everyone. They need to crack on with these boosters

Sounds like we were excellent second half and well worth the draw at least.

Replay probably not what we wanted really but shouldn’t complain, in the hat and with a decent chance at home.

I was out at fireworks and an Indian in Appleby, with relatives. Just got back to Rochford about an hour ago.

Rome wasn't built in a day, but, progress being made ......slowly. Sure we are still poor, the addition of 2 loanees isn't gonna change that, but I thought we were in the game for short periods, something that didn't happen at Roots Hall a few weeks back. Murphy got his 7th of the season and we found out Dalby should never be trusted with a penalty again. lol.

Still good trip and some positives to take forward. Next up Woking.

OH Stan is looking to hold his first supporters meeting on 26th November, but telling us lots already happening in the background. Already talking to clubs and making plans with some prem. Lge. clubs for January window activity and other EFL clubs where the window doesn't apply, with scouts out taking in alot of games
