Draw for the first round next week with the last qualifying round this weekend. Good luck to all the non league minnows fighting for a place in the 1st round..

If you're drawn out last you get a bye into the next round and still pick the prize money up for winning in round one. I'd rather Gillingham away as opposed to that as indoors is off that weekend and she will only make plans.

Nantwich, Wrexham, Stockport, Altrincham away if any of them get through would be my preference.

Off to Nantwich again on Saturday.

Went to the 3rd qual round win over Morpeth now they face kings lynn who are in the conference north having won in the playoffs in the NPL last season.

Would be good to see them get through.

Speaking of plucky non-league teams chesterfield and notts county are also in action against Wrexham and belper town respectively.

I’d like a trip to belper in the first round really, Nantwich would be good

Tamworth or barrow would be great also from the conference days - or York

Your lowest ranked teams still in the cup are Chichester and Colne.

However I always struggle to look past how tinpot a team's name sounds, even if there are lower ranked teams that don't sound as tinpot.

Any team with an 'and' in their name, any team from a town I've never heard of or any team with 'sports' in their name.

We haven't played each other in 25 years so I'd be up for that!

You leave the house with your scarf and bobble hat, she doesn't know where you go after that...if you are back late, you were away in Carlisle/Plymouth or some other obscure NL outpost...:10:.

Chichester, Havant & Waterlooville, Woking or Maidenhead away would be local and something slightly different.
Problem being that we would be expected to win and that it might be a TV game expecting an upset!

Whitby Away as I have family ties there and my Grandad played for them a few times would be special. Be nice to go the Turnbull to see the Vale and the wife loves Whitby so win win.

Fair play though!
Isn't Chesterfield in the countryside just outside Wrexham? :bg:

Well they’ve got each other so who knows where it’ll be played. On a farm somewhere probably!

Maldon & Tiptree would be an interesting tie for us, as our owner basically owns them as well and we treat them like a feeder club for our U23s.
