I hope Ryan Taylor is not injured, would be nice to see him.

BTW how many away fans do you normally accommodate?
Our away end holds around 1800 but we’ve only been giving 1200 this season to get more of our fans in as we’ve been selling out the home ends.

I think it's 1200 this season. We have over 5000 season ticket holders and have had to find space for more home fans, so the away end is now split.

Got my wish of playing a nothing, tinpot club with no fans - We play Harrogate at home.
Boring draw as usual but we should win. Still, at least it isn't Exeter.

Barrow away is literally an awful, awful draw considering we went other week.

aye, there were 2 random non league clubs that no-one had ever heard of before left in the hat in avelchurch and chesterfield but we get barrow hah.

Bristol Rovers away. Tough, but not impossible. Not been there myself before, either - tempted...

You should go - Bristol is an enjoyable city to muck about in. Good pubs near the (dreadful) Memorial Ground. The pre-match chorus of ‘Goodnight Irene’ is one of the great sights/sounds of lower division football. And the Rovers fans are marginally less twattish than their more sizeable counterparts from Bedminster.

Six all League Two ties, must be a record, of the 12 teams playing against teams from other divisions only four are at home.

I can see majority of our sides being eliminated at first hurdle.

Mansfield at home. Top of the list in the potential TV ties.
Tbf there weren't many games that stood out as TV material. They had us v Plymouth on telly last year so who knows you might be right.

Check the forecast before you choose a stand. That open away terrace isn't much fun in the rain!

As much as I love a cup run I don't think I'll be too upset if we go out in round 1. Avoiding fixture congestion might be a good idea.

Stockport away. We've already played them in the league at their place, drawing 1-1. A cup draw against same league opponents is generally undesirable but this is one of the better trips in the league. We had a cup run last year and entertained Man City in the third round on TV. Would love a repeat as we've been pants in the cup recently.

Great minds and all that

What I want is Merthyr Town away.

What I’ll probably get is Walsall away

I could Google it but I'll ask anyway in case anyone knows, are Merthyr Town a phoenix club? Growing up I remember Merthyr Tydfil hanging around the non-league scene but I presume they went the way of Maidstone?

I would imagine the Ipswich and Derby ties will be 2 of the chosen TV games

Yep pretty much. They play at the same ground too.

Harrogate at home. They’re dog shit and we’re alright. It’s winnable. No excuses.

Like Harrogate, the one time was enough.
Yep, not a classic. I was going to advise you to spend as long as possible in Brum.
we play Tranmere twice in a row as we have them in the league then too. Fun times.
We once had Morecambe in a two legged JPT semi either side of a league fixture with them.
besides Peterborough v Salford, I wonder who else will be televised.
Bracknell v Ipswich absolutely nailed on surely. Wrexham v Chester if it happens too.

Merthyr Tydfil FC went bust around 2010, Merthyr Town are a phoenix club, and actually played outside of Merthyr in their first season

I'm not sure how many TV games there are but I suspect the majority will come from this list.

South Shields v FGR
Curzon v Cambridge
Solihull v Hartlepool
Bracknell v Ipswich
Hendon/Chippenham v Lincoln
Weymouth v Wimbledon
Altrincham/Gateshead v Stevenage
Torquay/Hampton v Derby
Blyth/Wrexham v Oldham/Chester
Woking v Oxford
Chesterfield v Northampton

Agree about their fans being mostly a decent bunch. When we played them at the end of last season and they brought a big following, a handful of idiots let them down at the match, but the hundred plus who I shared a pub with afterwards were decent, friendly, civilized people.

Funny that because I imagine most Mansfield fans have a much better impression of City fans in comparison to Bristol Rovers.
