I dare say that if Barrow did that at home to Man United, for example, we'd still sell out - but the number of disenfranchised regulars would definitely hit gates for months (years even) to come.

Did you charge £30/£35 vs Leeds? Why would the overheads for arsenal be any higher? Leeds was a sell out too wasn't it?

We charged £15 for adults for FGR in the 4th qualifying round and Cheltenham in round 2, £20 for Wimbledon in round 3 and £25 for Leeds in round 4. (These are all adult terrace prices. For Wimbledon and Leeds seats were £3 more expensive. For all rounds, concession, teens and children tickets have been significantly less than adults) So there is a pattern and price structure emerging.

Quick question, unless away fans have access to the terrace at Macclesfield, aren't away fans charged £19 for a bog standard National League fixture? That is a bigger rip-off/piss take IMO (not as bad as £21 at Dagenham mind)

At Macc if you ring the ticket office in advance and request a terrace ticket they will put you in the stand at terrace price if the terrace is not going to be used. That was our experience anyway.

Regulars are more annoyed about paying £15 for Boreham Wood in the trophy today. Remember also we do have the cheapest season tickets in the division (I don't know any adult Sutton fan who a, isn't a season ticket holder and b, paid more than £99 for theirs. Most like me paid £85)

It wasn't a criticism, and I don't really know what Sutton is like in general - for comparison, Barrow is a fairly poor area, and it's the main reason crowds are low because people can't afford to go every week. If the tickets were bumped up to £35 for a top Prem team (they probably would be), it would be a lot of daytrippers/out-of-towners/Man Utd fans etc, and the regulars would be pissed off about it all.

I think most of our regular fans recognise this is a one-off, and in reality we've been well treated by the club in terms of things like season tickets for the last two years (for the last two years we've had cheap season ticket offers to increase the fanbase, 500 or so average 2 years ago, currently just under 1500 for this season). Of course there will be some who will take these prices as a personal insult, but as I said it looks as though most people are happy to pay this for a one off. Now if season ticket prices are dramatically increased.....

Obviously disappointing not to get more tickets at Burnley but the sense of entitlement among Lincoln fans is verging on Grimsby levels right now.

End of the day be great to be there but its on BT sport so I'll watch it there.
Been to Burnley before and it can be 'lively' there sometimes so wasn't keen to take the young person there either and the early kick off was the cocked hate on it really no way she'd get up around 7 on a non school day for footy :fl:

I've no idea, I've never been in that situation myself! I think I've read previously that no we don't, we just charge the £15 terrace fee, but high chance I'm wrong.

You're also charging more for a game that's not even on real grass - you should be on Fake Britain. It's not like you need to pay for a mower or pitch relay every summer.

Fairly sure when we went to Macclesfield last season the terrace was closed and we paid the lower terrace price to sit down.

We still owe Dos about £450,000 for the pitch mind.....

You're right it would be a much bigger rip off/piss take, especially considering its £17 to sit at Macc not £19 like you've plucked out of the blue.

No it's £15 for away seating at our ground, the same as on the terrace. Plus that got reduced for FA Cup games. So no ripping off/piss taking done by us.

Why on earth would anyone want to go to Burnley anyway? It makes Pyongyang look appetising.

They're not exactly an established PL club either, I'm not heartbroken to be missing out. Cup has done it's job anyway.

Not going to Burnley either, been before and can't make the early KO. I expect it will all come to an end but it's been an amazing run.

Our chances to win next week are under 5% in my opinion - I hope some of the more casual fans aren't expecting a third miracle.

Totally agree we need to get out the cup now, been great but we've a league to win!
Hopefully no suspensions or injuries either will be an even bigger bonus.
Sutton however playing the Arsenal u9s is a a different kettle of fish.

Totally agree, Sutton should play their accadamy team on Tuesday and keep their first team fresh for the main event :D

The way we played yesterday you should win. Can't wait to get Arsenal out of the way. Need to concentrate on the league

We were left disappointed not to beat Eastleigh in the end yesterday. They had the better possession first half but we created three glorious chances, failed to take any of them and right on half time Constable scores from a deflected effort that was heading wide. Second half they had a couple of chances early on but fluffed them and we spent the next thirty five minutes camped in their half attacking none stop. Finally equalising in the 96th minute.
Reda Johnson is incredible at defending balls into the box, a true man mountain!

This looks like it's been a bit of a PR fail by Sutton:

We can confirm that the club has reached an agreement with SunBet for the company's name to appear on the front of our shirts for next Monday's game against Arsenal. This was arranged with the full knowledge and co-operation of our valuable first team shirt sponsors Green Go Waste, to whom we are very grateful for allowing us to take advantage of this one-off opportunity which will enable us to undertake significant additional ground improvement works.

Manager Paul Doswell commented. "Malcolm and James at Green Go Waste have shown an unbelievable level of generosity to the club in allowing this to happen and they actually spoke to me in the bar straight after the Leeds game. This money will help so much to keep improving this great club, and we're very excited to be working with Sun Bet. They arranged for Ian Wright to take a fun training session today with the players, and then arranged for the players, Malcolm and James to have a full tour of Wembley.

I would also like to thank Andrew Doswell and Stuart Munro at Drew Smith who have agreed as part of the SunBet sponsorship, to allow the two ends of the ground to be rebranded.

Without these fantastic gestures it wouldn't have been possible, and it's humbling to see how much they want to help our club."
