"It's the winner for Stockport County surely" as they score in the 9th minute of extra time with just 21 minutes left to play. What an idiot this commentator is.
Is telling the truth idiocy down south?

Considering we’ve not played a competitive game for 3 weeks or trained together for 2 weeks I’d say it’s not a terrible person. Would be a bit worried if I was a Yeovil fan, feels like this could be a long season.

This club is dripping in sauce. Never a dull moment. I wanted penalties though.

Whether it turned out to be true is irrelevant, there were still 21 minutes to play so to suggest that was the end of the game was weird. If it had happened in the 69th minute of the game would you say the same? It was just one of many bizarre comments he made, some of which to be fair to him he then questioned himself as to why he'd said them. Kept getting people's names wrong, didn't know how much time had been played, all a bit strange.

We were terrible as was expected.

Thanks for your take on our season.

Good to get back in action but County looked rusty as f##k for much of that.

Got to make mention of the fouls, 7 by us versus 24 by the visitors, and that's not counting the times they tried to undress our lads (try sticking a twenty in their jockstraps next time). No wonder Yeovil are where they are in the table, these things tend to go hand in hand. Every time Gannon came in to rescue County, one of the first things he did was sort out discipline.

I think Yeovil were up to identical tricks last season too, wasn't it Yeovil who made Gannon change his mind about putting the ball out of play for an opposition player who goes down after Yeovil took advantage of us doing that?

Looks like you’ve been afflicted with a biased regional radio commentator. Commiserations. We had the same for our home tie against Burton Albion in the previous round with a couple of people from BBC Derby taking the reins. It’s like they didn’t realise that with the match being shown live on iPlayer that they needed to commentate for both sets of fans.
Conversely, the commentator for our match today was very good even though he was BBC 3 counties (BBC Radio London never cover our matches). He was impartial and factual.
As for our match today, we gave the Franchise a hard time but we looked impotent up front. Just a shame that we lost to a soft goal.

Gutted to lose that so late but if we can perform like this in league games we should find ourselves moving up the table. Be tough on the legs for Wednesday specially as the lads had to drive themselves up and back after the coach broke down in the car park before they left.

Spot on. It's easy to get away with bias when it's on the radio as the listeners have to take the commentary at face value. When it's on tv they can see when things aren't actually as the commentary makes them out to be.

The weird thing with today's commentary was that some things were being said which just didn't happen. It was weird. Even allowing for bias.

BBC Derby is my local station and they can be up themselves. I suppose it's the same pretty much everywhere.

Thing is the local commentator can usually get away with getting things wrong as no one can see and a commentator who does TV will usually have a monitor in front of them so gets a lot less wrong. In this case you have worst of both worlds.

Radio Manchester also never cover us so he’s getting to grips with player identification for both sides and having sat in our media box it can be really hard to decipher what’s going on sometimes on the far side of the pitch.

What a draw that is for Marine and what a culture shock that will be for Jose Mourinho & co. They will be watching from the terraced rooftops at College rd.
If Chorley can play anything like they have against Wigan &Peterboro then Derby could be in for a nasty surprise.
Stockport have a chance and if Borehamwood get through I would fancy them against Millwall.

Derby are in a terrible state at the moment, that's the last sort of tie they'd want. Living in a Derby stronghold area it's interesting to watch their freefall.

Why is he still playing non-league football?
He would of stayed at Barrow if Evatt stayed. One of the conditions on Evatt signing for Bolton was that he could not sign any Barrow players.....

That is a brilliant draw for Marine, shame they cant get a packed house for it. Would’ve loved them to beat Spurs in front of 3000 odd, pissing it down, mud up to the crotch and Jose blaming the BBC red button for the early kick off because his boys were still knackered after arriving back from the Europa League trip to Andorra 12.5 days ago.
