750 sold as of yesterday, a good win last night, new management team I’d imagine the final 250 will go, parking somewhere is gonna be a nightmare ain’t it?
Parking and also getting into Lincoln full stop, so I'd give yourself a little more time. Saturday is always the busiest day for the market.

Parking wise, there's the below link on our OS with car parks that have offers on, on matchdays. I'd suggest Tentercroft Street (LN5 7DB) first, then Lincoln Central (LN5 7BP). The former is the closest to SB (10 min walk), the latter is slightly further away at the train station but it closer to the high street if you're planning on food and drinks before the game. The latter is also about 3x the size so probably more chance of getting in there.

If you get there before 12.30pm, there's a decent chance of off-street parking.

There's also a school who offer parking, which is basically outside the away end (LN5 8EU). Not sure how busy it gets because get there about 12ish and use off-street parking near it. If you're wanting to get out quickly after the game I'd avoid the school and off-street parking and go to the first two suggestions, which are both straight out onto main routes out of Lincoln.

Cheaper tickets making it more affordable as an away day maybe? Whereas its more expensive for home fans than usual if a season ticket holder? (we have this weird quirk that under 9's are free for league games but a fiver for cup too)
But if you’re going on an away day £10 here or there isn’t much of a difference

Brilliant, cheers for that.

Our tickets at Cambridge aren't cheap (£22) but they've gone all la di da now they are League One.

Poor that is from Cambridge, dont think we've had full price tickets home or away in that competition for a long time, even at the Etihad it was £10 or £15 (cant remember which!)

We usually do £15, Burton have done it £15 seated for us and £12 terrace which is decent I thought.

Their own fans can pay £18 on the terrace but we don't have that option.
Probably be less than 3000 there then

I'm not going. It would be quite easy for me and I generally like the ground but it's too steep pricewise and the weathers shite.

We had discounted tickets for the replay in round 1 so I'd be surprised if we were charging full whack of our own accord, but it's possible. We charged full price for the first round of the League Cup against Swindon but I think that was insisted on by Lee Power in his dying days as Swindon owner to presumably try and get as much cash in his hands as possible before he made his quick escape from there.

We had just over 3k for the replay, albeit with 700 away fans, so should exceed that, but not by a whole lot I imagine which is pretty pathetic. Of course everyone will be complaining if we go through, get a Prem team away and there's only 10k there. Hypocrites.

If we had at least once of our first choice forwards available I’d give us a good shot of knocking off Burton but it looks a very tough ask now. Our best hope will be to go in there with a defensive setup and just make the game very ugly and look to catch them on the break or via a Conlon free kick or something like that.

Hopefully can pull it off as getting a big club in round 3 would be great but just can’t see it unfortunately.

We've got goals throughout the team which gives me hope but you do worry how wasteful we will be without Wilson, the other night we had enough chances and didnt take them and hope that doesn't become the story of the next few weeks as we have the quality to create enough good chances.

If Rodney could just sort himself out it would be useful!

Replay at best for us, a free hit so pressure is off at least so if we get a good result it should hopefully restore some confidence in the league which is our main concern. Our away support will be made up of majority exiles so there won't be many, possibly 200-250. Our supporters coach from Barrow is setting off at 5am, and it's a nightmare to get to on the train.

Sounds like we will be missing Dieng, who has been awesome lately, but at least Podge is available so we have options up front.

We've effectively got 2 wingers playing up front which isn't ideal, but it does give the opportunity for Conlon and Garrity to get in the box centrally as Amoo and Rodney both like to drift wide.

With Wilson or Proctor I'd be confident of getting something here but I have a feeling we might have to stumble through to January without inflicting too much damage.

We are not exactly in great form so you have a good chance. If Jebbison and hemmings are playing up front then it will be harder, but JFH has been tinkering too much lately with the formation ( as we have a huge squad ) and as a consequence playing indifferently. Winning our last two masks this somewhat.

Hopefully be a good game, our reserves took Rotherham to pens who threw on their big guns and we obviously panned Accrington 5-1 so should enjoy it, pressure is off, bit of a free hit away to a side a league above so may as well relax and try and play our game. Pressure is on Burton to avoid a mini upset.

As mentioned if James Wilson or Jamie Proctor was fit I would fancy us, when the draw was made we were in imperious form but we've dropped off since losing Wilson, and have literally no strikers fit (even the two youth team ones are out!)

Main thing as said is avoid a replay, avoid any more injuries and see what happens, Tuesday night is far more important in our position.

I don't think that some fans are appreciating that quite a few away fans are still being put off attending by covid.

I usually go to 20 plus away games a season on the coach but have only been to Bolton so far and I drove there.

Less coaches are being run and to be fair I still don't fancy being on a packed coach for 3 hours despite being fully jabbed.
Rotherham is still above the national average for cases so there's quite a good chance of infections being spread on coaches.

It's hard to stay away when the team is doing so well but other than Accrington (Boxing day), Hillsborough and Donny I'm not sure about travelling to too many more.

Don't worry. We found you don't need strikers. They'll score the goals for you.

I was disappointed when the draw was made, but I am actually looking forward to a trip to Brisbane Road now, one of my favourite away grounds.

The bookies have Orient as strong favourites but I think it will actually be a tight affair, and I think we are capable of forcing a replay. Our performances have been much improved since Glatzel and Maynard came into the side as a front two.

We won't have played for eleven days on Saturday, which may or may not be a benefit to us.

Stags have sold out our allocation of just over 3,300 for our trip to Doncaster.
I was looking forward to an easy win at the keepmoat, but now that Doncaster has sacked their manager, I think it is going to be a very different game now.

We've been quite good at home, which is why we're favourites I'd imagine. On Loan Millwall centre back Alex Mitchell hasn't been allowed to play so Adam Thompson is likely to fill in for him.

I'm convinced it will be a draw, because we draw alot of games and its one of those things written in the stars that we will have to go to Tranmere twice in a week. If this is settled on the day and we lose I won't be too bothered tbh.

Please no replay. Doesn’t suit either team. In fact does it suit anyone ? Apart from a non league team getting a league team back to their place - there is an argument for 90 mins and penalties like in the papa johns.

Think dirty doncaster and mansfield will be a fiesty game to say the least, give us 3,300 for the most local derby we’ve got then we’ll sell it.

Maybe a slight change as they’ve sacked wellens but given our recent form both in general and away we will be hopeful of something from the game

You won’t be saying that if you manage to take a big club to a replay at their place in Round 3.

they've already got a big club in round 2 the jammy bastards
Just do replays in R1 and R3 so the non leaguers get a chance in the first round and us lot get a chance of one in the third (until you pull our Gillingham Away of course instead of Man City)

How about only having replays for clubs in different divisions?

I asked on our forum yesterday. Why is the FA cup still a big draw for away fans - even in the first 2 rounds - than it is if you’re at home?

There’s some good away followings coming up yet those at home can’t be arsed.
I'll see how many Shrewsbury bring tomorrow. Horsham brought around 270 (which I will never tire of reminding folk, is ten times the amount Salford took to Dagenham, despite Salford being three divisions higher and having 120 fewer miles to travel).

We've gone and only opened two stands again so those at home definitely can't be arsed. The apathy is palpable.

or just allow the 2 clubs to decide between them, if both agree to settle it in the first leg, fine, if one team doesn't agree, then potential replay it is.

Nah, everyone should be playing by the same rules. Having some teams arrive in the next round following one draw with extra-time and penalties and another team having a draw then a replay would lessen the idea of the FA Cup providing a level playing field.

I think the gist of it is that big clubs (whatever big is for the current round, so league teams in Round 1, Premiership in Round 3 etc) will want to get a result on the night but smaller teams will favour a replay. So games between big clubs will be the ones where they get a result on the night. It may seem like it suits everyone but something about their being two paths through the competition doesn't seem very 'FA-cup-like' to me. I'm sure teams would adjust their playing styles too if they knew there wasn't going to be a replay so you could have different games in the same round being played under different rules and this affecting the football on the pitch.

I do expect that bigger clubs, especially Premier League ones would be open to paying smaller clubs for them to turn down the replay. Again, seems like it suits everyone... the small club gets more than the money they would have gotten for the replay and is arguably more likely to progress since replays probably do favour the bigger teams, who having put in a poor performance to only scrape a draw against lesser opposition go into them determined not to do that again. But if that's the case then just scrap replays altogether.
