Well, if nothing else League 1 is guaranteed at least one side in the next round.

Great chance for Ipswich to test themselves against a struggling side in the division above.

Decent chance for Accy to progress too, you’d think.

What I found fascinating was that both Derby and Barnsley are previous FA Cup winners but have only met once, and that was 126 years ago in the 1800's.

Staggered that we are slight favourites at home to Burton given our stinking home record this season.

Be interesting to see how strong a side Newcastle put out.

I suspect it will be a strong 1st team 11.
The Saudi's will want some return for their massive investment in club. The FA Cup could be the start.

Good luck to all. Quite fancy Fleetwood at home to QPR.

Worked out quite well we are out as Derby would have been our opponents if they weren’t in the 3rd round so the two week break before Peterborough is quite useful.

With our injuries it’s very useful! Gives us time to get sorted!

Spurs best watch out now…all those Pompey players set to play out of their skins to impress all those potential new managers watching in the stands.

I actually watched Spurs live v Villa yesterday (mate’s an STH and had a spare free ticket) and they didn’t look great vs a dogged and organised Villa side.

Obviously Pompey’s players are nowhere near as good as Villa’s, pound for pound, but Spurs are far from untouchable, and a bunch of their best got crocked at the World Cup, so you never know…

Well you can take 22/1 on us if you like? It's a funny old game as you know, and there will probably be a reaction from our players. However, I reckon Harry Kane will have this marked in his diary for 4 or 5 goals to boost his tally and we have just the defence he's been looking for.

You'll probably score first - they seem to have a habit of letting the opposition take the lead.

You are joking right? We have just got dicked 5 at morecambe. You will win.

You looked better then us last Thursday tbf, so guessing Morecambe was a bit of a fluke?

Yeah fits, plus I suppose most teams raise their game against us. We're everyone's cup final.

Talking of cup finals, you never know, we could meet again this season in the FA Cup final. Must be decent odds on that. Worth a tenner of anyone’s money.

Ipswich will beat Rotherham, probably a better side than them even though they’re in a lower league

It's the FA Cup, anything can happen. So looking forward to seeing how we compete against QPR. New boy Phoenix Patterson is available, watching his goals on Twitter, potentially he looks a diamond of a player. Confidence high, good crowd of and history can be made reaching in the 4th round ...........
Best of luck to all league 1 clubs competing this weekend

Pitch inspection at 09:45...due to heavy rain overnight. Guess there must be significant doubt whether this will go ahead.

At 09:30...it is absolutely chucking it down.

Game off - waterlogged pitch.

We won't be playing a full strength squad against Rotherham tonight, illness has swept through the team over the last 7-10 days and appears to still be hanging around.

More or less a full-strength side for Spurs v Pompey, Lloris, Hojbjerg and Romero dropped to the bench but that may be just as much because they weren’t much cop v Villa (I was at the game) as for rotation purposes.

Either way, Spurs are hardly “playing the kids” so they have no excuses.

Good luck Pompey.

We proved it can be done last season against Chelsea, would have took them back to HP if it was this season. Imagine if Hardie’s 120th min pen went in!

Take your chance, ride your luck, be disciplined and you never know what’ll happen, especially against this Spurs side!

Bet the away end is bouncing.

Rotherham were worse than any league one side I’ve seen this season

Blimey, they must be bad...I've seen about half the teams in our league play and there are a number (including ourselves) who excel at ineptitude.

Scoring 4 and progressing is one thing. But having Broadhead and Hirst in the stands watching on is brilliant for us. Huge signings.
