Well done Kidderminster Harriers. Hopefully a good cup run will help finance a rise up the football pyramid where your pies and ale houses will be more appreciated.

Heads have gone, the occasion has got to them I think. We just can't settle and get our foot on the ball. We're often shit in the first half, might settle more as the game goes on, but this game has obviously gone already. You can't blame them, European Champions have put a pretty strong side out here. Collect the money, run, and concentrate on the proper stuff.

Haven't calmed down yet. Absolute scenes today. 2 extremely scrappy goals but who cares how they go in. What a day can we please get our just deserved day out at a prem team.

Today was only spoiled by part time fans lobbing flares and bottles onto the pitch for the entire 2nd half. That's the reason 12 minutes were added on

A few years ago we lost 7-1 at Chelsea and our fans made it sound romantic, ‘great to get the goal’, ‘what a day out’ etc etc

It wasn’t any of those things, it was Fucking humiliating

We've not had a big one away in years but I do agree. You get smashed let's be honest it can't be that fun. Just have to remind yourself it is great for your club to get half that gate money.

And I bet you're surrounded by a load of JCL's. I didn't even enjoy going to Wembley and that was to win a League Two play off final because I was surrounded by a load of day trippers.

Someone was saying I bet all the Chesterfield fans are buzzing all having a pint round Stamford Bridge etc. They can do that when they play Wealdstone or the like if it's that exciting and hop on the tube. The reality is it'll be rammed to fuck and majorly expensive.

Half the gate money is where it is good for Chesterfield.

What dreams are made of. Carrington - what a performance. Reading didn't create jackshit and we get 2 scruffy goals.magic of the cup.

Just need to be careful we don't concede another 5 late on here as we tire as that won't be good. Fantastic atmosphere still though

2003 - Akwasi Asante is the first non-league player to score an #FACup goal against a side in the top two of the Premier League since Rocky Baptiste for Farnborough Town against Arsenal at Highbury in January 2003. Moment.

Even when you factor in the quality of opposition they were up against, there really was some awful defending from Chesterfield there. Lots of simple things executed terribly and some uncharacteristic errors from Loach.

Yea the occasion got to them I think first half, Chelsea played a strong side and made the pitch look massive but we didn't get tight enough, and made silly errors. It's hard though when like Hudson Odoi and Ziyech between them earn more than our entire squad, and theirs cost hundreds of millions to assemble. Fuck it though it was a great day, the fans were brilliant throughout, everyone's enjoyed it despite the result. Time to get back to the real shit now and dislodge that silly tinpot mob off the top of the table.
