5 League 2 teams through so far by my count, we'd all love one of the big boys I'm sure. Would also love to go to Villa, but after today I'm just glad we are in the hat!!

We need to get past Welling first, but if we do then I'd like one of the more beatable premiership teams such as Villa, Norwich or Chelsea.

Failing that, would love another crack at Liverpool at Anfield, actually had a dream the other night that we went back to Anfield and didn't let them take us to penalties this time around. They're a different proposition under Klopp, but reckon we could have the beating of them now.

Would like a money spinner given how much our budget was hit this season but i'm just glad we made it.

*If* we manage to cause an upset and beat Whitehawk tomorrow, it'd be rather amusing that 3 of the bottom 4 teams in the league are through to the 3rd round of the cup.

We never get glamour ties unless we're so far advanced in the competition that it's mathematically impossible to avoid one (L'pool FA Cup semi, Chelsea League Cup semi) so I'm confidently expecting to get someone *slightly* better than us (e.g. mid table L1 team) who we will get knocked out by with no tv money, limited gate money and obviously no prize money.

We're so skint that ANY extra cash would make a difference so I suppose getting humiliated and dumped out by a non league side isn't the end of the world, as long as we get TV cash for it.

I do despise mercenaries who only think of the £££ as a rule, but the shitness of our financial footing is leading me to abandon the moral high ground on this occasion.

If we beat Doncaster today, I'm expecting us to draw Eastleigh away where we'll get stuffed. Two money spinning draws in two seasons just isn't gonna happen is it?!

For us, the best one would be Arsenal away - you can get a direct train from Cambridge to Finsbury Park in just over an hour, it's a massive ground with expensive tickets. It's the perfect money maker for us.

I'm still desperate for Peterborough home or away though. That needs to happen at some point. They'll probably lose to Luton and we 'll get them instead. Again.....

Newcastle away would be my preference, though wouldn't mind getting the scousers again. I'd like any of the top sides home or away.

Either away to West Ham, Tottenham or Chelsea. In that order. Just pleased we've made it. It's been a long time.

Hope one of you get an away tie at somewhere big. We don't have a game so an opportunity for me to tick a ground off. Hopefully Stamford Bridge or Anfield but no doubt it will be Liverpool v Everton and Chelsea v Arsenal!

Imagine we'll draw West Ham away and then get dicked 6-0 by Scunthorpe in the replay.

I now blame yesterday's result on you wandering into this thread. Learn the lesson. You can't even put the hope into words with "If we win..." out there in the interweb thingy

The pernickety gods and spirits of the Abbey consider that presumptuous and act accordingly.

I apologise. I agree it's all my fault. Aside from this abhorrent behaviour, my mere presence is certainly not helping the team - I'm now on 2 wins in 12 games this season.

Forgiven. So you've seen 25% of the wins by attending almost 50% of the games. I hope you've no plans to go to Plymouth.

The immediate good news is that I am and I've only missed two away "successes" (if you count Barnet 0-0) and managed to only see us lose twice at an away league match this season (Wycombe and Oxford). Like the team, my home form is less impressive but I've clocked up 2 away wins and 3 away draws........don't lump on for a result at Plymouth though, that would be presumptuous.

The third year in a row we've reached at least the 3rd Round. Purely from a selfish point of view I'd like Derby away.

Just killing time at the moment so did a random number generator as an FA cup draw rehearsal. This is who we all pulled out:

Salford/Hartlepool (62) vs Blackburn Rovers (5)
Newport (46) vs Leicester (22)
Burnley (10) vs Portsmouth (48)
Oxford (64) vs Crystal Palace (14)
Carlisle (56) vs Bradford (45)
Exeter (51) vs Preston (31)
Yeovil (54) vs Birmingham (4)
Dag & Red/Whitehawk (63) vs Manchester City (24)
Northampton (50) vs Arsenal (2)
Middlesbrough (26) vs Wycombe (58)
Brighton (8) vs Leyton Orient (57)

A top Premier League team away would be superb. The money for us comes first and the result second that's the reality of being a small club on the edge of London in League 2.

Luton, having missed the opportunity to play Man Ure last year, will be kicking themselves again this year when the P^^h are drawn away to Liverpool or Arsenal. Salford will get Man Ure, if they do the unthinkable and get past Rakish/Pools that is, and football fans all over the globe will say the draw was fixed. And they would be right.

Pretty predictable but a top Prem team home or away or one of the lower ranked teams left.

Eastleigh or Southampton would be controversial draws. Just hope we don't get like Charlton away or something.

A big game against a prem club would be nice but we wouldn't ever see any evidence of the money from it.
