I know Man utd have got loads of debt, but I hope we don't do what we did with Hartlepool and let them have all the gate money.

£23,000 from what I've just read. Wouldn't even cover one of your top earners weekly wage!!

I'd be still tempted to play the weakened side against United - it's a good chance for the likes of Bent, Blackman...etc to get game time.

Some cracking ties there. If a few replays go the right way we could have

Derby United
Eastleigh Leeds
Wymcobe City
Mk Dons or Northampton v Chelsea
Oxford v Newport
Exeter West Ham
Colchester v Leicester or Spurs

Great stuff

Thats not really the point though Tom.

United at home is win/win for us. Full house, decent atmosphere, gate receipts, half a chance of pulling off an upset and if we don't then it's no shame. Hopefully it'll be a 3pm Saturday game.

Have we not got a chance then?

He gets over excited and thinks we could literally beat any team just because we're playing reasonably well.

We'll go into the game whether it is West Brom or Brizzle as underdogs, but we could cause an upset if we play like we currently have been playing and you have an off day. However, it should be a home win.

Quite happy with our draw, a ground we've never played at and a good chance of progression

I'm quite tempted to try and go to that, I enjoyed my trip to Shrewsbury last season in the league (although the ground is miles away from the city centre). I think it might be tough to get tickets, though...

For a chance to get into the 5th round you'd fancy it to be a really open match though.

The Oxford fans were brilliant the other day, drummed up a right racket.

Aye, that would have been my guess. I did manage to get to Rochdale the other year, though.
Double allocation that though pal, always a spare or two floating about.

Il bet you £1000 its not a 3pm saturday game its the most nailed on one of the lot for tv. I believe it will be man utds 50th consecutive fa cup game on tv.

Yeah I'm hopeful with that thought. If it's anything other than a Sat lunch/3PM kick off I'm screwed.

Ridiculous that we're even having to replay, but that's pretty much a perfect draw. Avoided the spotlight of a big tie awaiting us and a great chance of the 5th round if we get through.

Derby v Man Utd on tv as expected.

Prices have just gone up, and they're ridiculous. £35 for season ticket holders who purchase before January 20th. £40 for everyone else. :ffs:

It's surprising, as we're usually quite good. Cheap for the lesser ties in the cup, and Chelsea last season in the League Cup and a couple of years ago in the FA Cup was £25 for STH's and £30 for everyone else.

It's not soley down to DCFC remember... Do you think United would be keen to agree on £20 tickets?

It might seem bad but at the same time our ST's are fairly priced along with our match tickets, we've had 25 million pumped into the playing squad, countless improvements around the ground and a fair amount of gestures from the club this season. We can't have it good all the time. I've got no problems paying £35 but that might also be down to the fact I've not been able to get in months and this is one of the few I can.

I know gate receipts are shared in the FA cup but surely United would be happy with that. Not exactly like they'll be missing out on much £ compared to the amounts they make every week and would be great for their fans.

Yeah I thought as much but they're obviously happy to just agree to it too. It's not just DCFC's decision on the matter, that's what I was aiming at.

I wonder how much United charged for Sheff United fans the other week.

£46-£55 for our fans. It was £37-£45 for season ticket holders but that was us who lowered it for our own fans not man utd making it cheaper.
