Terrible effort from Martial. Ok it was blocked but if he just puts his shot near post there's noone getting near it.

Man Utd full backs are pushing forward. Zaha and Bolasie are forced to follow, so when Palace get on the ball there's no outlet.
Palace need to gamble on it then. If htey track the fullbacks they'll drop deep like you say, but id they stay forward they'll catch the fullbacks out of position and get good opportunities themselves. We'll have to see who has the bigger bollocks.

Pre-tourney 'Rooney can do no wrong' mood from the commentary team and Clattenberg.

Okay, just the commentary team.

Erm! Can someone clarify this for me, Zaha there just went down in the box, Clattenberg signals that Rooney got the ball (which he didn't) so it's play on, but doesn't one of the Man Utd players then touch the ball like he's taking a free kick? Or am I seeing things?

Ah ok, Zaha grabbed the ball free kick. Sussed.

Palace are playing very deep and unadventurous, United for all the possession and pushing forward keep delaying on getting the ball into the box and it is allowing Palace to get those blocks and tackles in. Both sides need to speed things up a bit and show a bit of bottle. Too easy for the keepers at the moment.

So is Rooney amazing in centre midfield or awful?

Palace might feel hard done by there!

Mind you Man U have had chances.

You can see the game plan from Palace is to sit deep and absorb the Man U attacks, which have been pretty powderpuff so far. United players seriously lacking tempo and invention. Can see them snatching a goal though if Palace don't up their game in the 2nd half.

Clattenburg been awful, has he ever heard of the advantage rule. Don't agree though that blowing up the Smalling on Wickham challenge would have made it 1-0, the United players stopped running. Same with Rojo and his challenge on Ward, he clearly slowed up. Ward was never past him.

Boring so far, hope it gets better in the 2nd half.

I'd like to take this time to point out that G Dragon, a Liverpool fan, didn't watch his team's final, but he's watching United's.

The kind of football that's to be expected from us. Second half shouldn't be any better.

That's what I thought at first but the commentary seem to think the whistle went after he'd beaten the Argentine.

I thought it was clear that Rojo was getting back goalside of Ward and thats when the whistle went. Rojo heard it, slowed up and Ward kept going. I think he could have let it go, but I don't think Palace massively lost out there.

I'd like to thank the Liverpool fans for volunteering to watch our threads and abuse us all season long when there are no fans of the opposing team all season long. Must take a lot of dedication.

All the power, none of the accuracy - that about sums Fellaini up.

I think Delaney is a little relieved about that yellow.

Yep, ticks several of the boxes to make it a red. Late, reckless, out of control, didn't get the ball. Very fortunate.

Is it worth Puncheon putting those shin pads in? They're the size of a crisp.

Is this the worst FA Cup final ever? I can't think of a worse one to watch.

If you consider Fellaini as a number 10, I make that 8 United players playing out of position. Shaw is the on,y major injury.... Awful
