Are you actually serious? I am genuinely pleased to be working next Wednesday evening, rather that sit through yet another embarrassment.
Don't blame you, thanks to the glorious BTsports is seen most of the upsets in recent years, and commitment and attitude of the supposed professionals has without exception been disgraceful. I'd have been waiting for all of them with the rotten tomatoes if they'd been my team. :bdick:

We're on TV against Oldham on the Monday night on BT Sport.

No surprise really given the Xmas Market. The tie obviously helps, but I mean it'd probably have had to have been played then anyway.
Happy it's on the box but can't see many Latics making the trip now. 500 tops I reckon.

On way to the huge game tonight. Its first time really since being a Curzon fan from exile that I feel a big buzz and anticipation, 90 mins and over 100k on the line for two small non league clubs....gonna be tense for both

Liam Mcdonald's first game in charge, in arguably the biggest game of our 9 year existence.

3 clubs were really unlucky not to go through in their first match:
Whitehawk were destroyed yesterday
Boreham are 1-0 down
And we're 2-0 down

Real case of what might have been for us all

Edit: Forgot about Westfields, that's 4

Hawkins sent off. York must fancy their chances of beating us Saturday. We have a bench full of youth players and are down to the bare bones of a shattered 11. Sigh.

Eastleigh 2 up last time I checked, but I can't say I'm surprised.

I watched Swindon in the first game and then against Charlton at the weekend and they try to be so textbook in how they play the game that anyone with any sort of physicality will boss them. Aside from that, they're incredibly boring to watch.

Just saw that score flash up after I read your post. Hope springs eternal. Though of course all the best teams are out the cup already

Nope, 2-1 down in the 90th minute.

An interesting stat is no longer true now. Before tonight, the last FA cup match we lost NOT on TV (including being in the BBC Sunday feature matches) was all the way back on the 12th October 2013, losing 2-0 in the 3rd qualifying round to Boreham Wood. If I remember correctly that was only because of the worst refereeing I've ever seen and a certain referee chant could be heard from the high street

goals from Jordan Williams and Ryan Yates saw us through against a spirited Taunton side who scored a cracking free kick goal.
Jordan Williams goal was a beauty and he's probably put another £50,000 on his value with plenty of scouts watching again.
looks like Bristol Rovers next as they're 4-2 up against Creepy with 10 mins left...

Well that was rather easy. The National League must be piss poor this year if that shower of shit are at the top end. :bdick:

Went to watch Swindon Eastleigh tonight. Thought Eastleigh dominated the game, Swindon never really had a chance. Tactically very poor from Sherwood. Moore got it spot on, drury played out of his skin and overall their experience showed.

Well, from the run of play we could have won that more emphatically, but we couldn't've won it in much better style.

Josh Macdonald is like a firework but Matty Kosylo keeps the ball in his orbit and can pick out the corner every time. Together they're a real headache, and once they switched we'd made our victory.

Dagenbridge & Redham were a pale reflection of that team in the first leg for most of the game. Jostled free of us a few times, but didn't have the possession. Certainly missing players and hardly watering at the mouth to be facing a midweek trip to the Shay, though they got well into it in the second half.

Great moves between players, reading each other very well with authority at the back. Two lovely goals, but the play that led to Kosylo's winner was particularly welcome: a ponderous period where we were dominating, pinging it between three laikers just outside the area, who juggled it well before giving it to the substitute. All too many times, that sort of play leads to a vicious circle of no-one wanting to make an effort on goal before we lose possession and have to hurriedly track back, but Matty could balance a diamond on a blade of grass at times.

Not screaming with joy that we've drawn The Vision™ away, but I sure am that we've made it through four rounds, five games and into the 2nd Round proper for the first time in 12 years. Given our hard earnt work against the Daggers, we'll be able to compete.

Well done to the 51 who travelled. Seeing as I've got a good run going in attending FA Cup games I may as well book myself on the Vision Express to the Silverlake.

We could get all the way to the third round without playing a proper club. Would that be a record? :bdick:
