Great draw for the Spireites, and a good one for Yeovil seeing as they are allegedly now being funded by the cup run.

50% of the gate receipts coming our way which if it’s a sell out, looking at between £600k / £700k depending on ticket prices

If we get stuck on TV then we really are laughing ££ !!

Really looking forward to that one, never been to Stamford Bridge either so that’s an added bonus!
£750k gate receipts, £70k TV money, £100k extra from any sponsors wanting to hop on board the hype train, £50k from extra memorabilia to remember the special day, £5k from transport revenue and £10m from Peterborough for Kabongo Tshimanga after he ends Thiago Silva's career.

I could see Yeovil, Kiddy and Chesterfield all getting onto the big telescreens or the highlights show. There's been some very good draws here.

Yeah, there’s a 10% cut for the FA and then the remaining 90% is split after expenses I think.

Depends how the tickets get priced but I’d guess they’re looking at maybe £250k/£300k from ticket sales. Worth having.
Working at an average ticket price of £30 when you consider the prices these big premier leagues tend to charge / as well as the hospitality packages going on on the day.. You’re looking at 41,000 x £30 = £1,230,000

45% of that ‘rough’ figure is still around £550k !

I reckon it’ll be miles cheaper than that. When we were at Liverpool it was cheaper than an average league game down here is I think, and you’ll have a really high number of kids in the home end cos it’s a good/easy game to take them to.

Although I think you have the option of playing hardball over the ticket prices if you really want to. Can’t remember who it was but someone in like the Northern League did it to us for a first round tie a few years ago, refused to let us make it a tenner and the FA had to intervene haha.

How many are on? I would say Man Utd vs Villa (sigh), Swindon vs Man City, Millwall vs Palace and Forest vs Arsenal are guaranteed to be on. Probably Liverpool vs Shrewsbury as well.

If there’s any more than that on then Ches and Kiddy have a chance. Should all get the few quid for highlights though.

I think Chelsea are doing just fine with Lukaku, Werner, Havertz and co mate, I don’t think we’ve got much to worry about regarding them chucking a bid in…

Kabongoals has more goals than all those overpaid jokers combined, they need him, £20M up front and we'll talk

Its the 1997 Cup final being play 25 years later.

Kabongo hattrick and Gavin Gunning to snap Lukaku 10 mins in. Frost covers made into a huge flag to cover the away end.

It is indeed. A dream cup tie for you guys. Only United or Liverpool away could have topped it.

It's a belting draw for us. We've not had a big away cup tie since 1991 so we are due one. Don't mind about the result one bit, all about the day out and experience.

Kiddy are the lowest ranked side left in the competition so they get on, Chesterfield will get on because it's a non-league side facing one of the best teams in the country.

I'd like to see Millwall v Palace televised over those games mind you, that could be really tasty.

Millwall vs Palace would be top of the list for the neutrals, so they probably won’t put it on.

Boreham Wood going through then, meaning our home game with them will get pushed back. Completely fine with that, we could do with facing them when our new signings have embedded themselves in the side.

So a big game at Stamford Bridge featuring an expensively assembled side in blue funded by dodgy money, with fans who think their team is the best in Europe.

And also Chelsea.

Yes agree with that one. Kiddy V Reading and Yeovil v Bournemouth should also be on
If Man U v Villa and Leeds v West Ham get picked then the Fa Cup needs disbanding

Initial thought to the draw was meh but home against a struggling Championship side you never know we could shock them. Maybe on TV as well as it has got the makings of an upset.

Bournemouth at home for us. Could have been worse, could have been better. Not aure it'll be on telly which is what we desperately need and we have no chance of winning.
Championship away at non league I would expect both of those would be on tv.
