Just to be clear, Worksop looked a very decent outfit, could hold their own in NLN, I suspect. Thoroughly deserved the win.

Lot for Kevin Wilkin to think about. Be interesting to hear what he has to say. Can`t remember seeing a Brackley side in the last five years outfought and outskilled. Ran up the white flag with the substitutions.

Play offs look a distant dream at the moment. Missing most of last season`s key contributors, either permanently or temporarily. Didn`t fire a shot in anger for the 75 mins that I was there. Short of creativity, ideas, and most surprisingly, fight. The dressing room would be an angry and frustrated place for a while. Even Gaz Dean looked uncomfortable against the big lad up front, can`t remember ever seeing that before.

Next two away games will be key to rebuild momentum. Today was an absolute shocker.

Good 3-1 win for us at Hungerford with a lot of players missing (injuries and loan players not permitted to play by their parent club).

Paul Carden surely on his way out at Telford after their latest defeat?

Draw for next round is Tuesday.

Got the better of Pontefract Colls with a 2-0 win, Willoughby (who else?) with both goals.

Awful game but just glad to get it done, looks like a few National North sides have fallen to lower division sides in the cup today. That’s usually us (Dunston, Marine, Royston, Marske), looks like Bern & Jonno have taken that curse with them to Spennymoor.

I thought on Saturday we actually had a reasonably decent referee for once that took no shit from either side.

As for the game it was a right ding-dong affair, our defence was all at sea in the first half, either that they were all on the piss the night before. Second half was much better especially with the chances we were creating and possibly could have had more, few hairy moments in defence once again with a clearance of the line and a bit of luck to go with it.

But overall the game was all about Mark Beck he was unlucky not to grab 4 goals after a great save from the Southport keeper. Once again another team came to BM and went down to 10 men which helped our cause, saying that Southport played really well with 10 players.

Once again I like the look of Captain Barbosa he's got potential with a few more games under his belt.

Lambert was on his game and was really good.

Blyth at home for us, made totally sure last night with a merciless demolition of Liversedge, our bigger pitch and much better playing surface made a difference but a couple of changes to the team and much better performance. We now go into 2 home league games before the home Cup game.

Hanley Town got themselves a nice draw away at Chester. As luck has it for them Stoke are not playing that day so might get a few of them going to take the opportunity for a day out in Chester.

All welcome it would be great to get a good away following to create a bit of atmospher, you can’t beat a good FA cup tie.

Hyde United away for us could be a tricky one, met 3 times to my knowledge with Hyde having the upper hand with 2 wins.

Both clubs are in cracking form should be a lively affair having both won their last five matches.

And we're out with another abject performance. Barely any passes forward, King was yelling at them to get it forward - they kept going backwards. Merthyr goal was a total embarrassment, dog shit defending. They thoroughly deserved the win. Final whistle went and O'Sullivan, club captain mind, starts high fiving and hugging the Merthyr players. Apparently he had ten people on his Guestlist, they were all in the away end. Players laughing and smiling going down the tunnel. Get them the fuck out of this club.

Couldn't make today's game but that's us bit the dust, unfortunately the Hyde jinx continues until we cross swords again.

Reading reviews we probably should have put this one to bed. No excuses good luck to Hyde in the next round.

Kept ourselves in the hat in another tough draw away at Scarborough, now play them for the third time in 7 days but have home advantage.

It will be much difference for them to go from playing in two games with very noisy fans to an empty ground with little support, hope that helps us.

Chorley failed against Blyth again, we are always useless against them at VP, but basically dreadful team selection meant a change back to 4-4-2 in order to accommodate the useless Jack Sampson, we were flying in a 4-3-3 style while he as out injured.

Just north of Leicester on the edge of the beautiful Bradgate Park, easy run for you guys down the M1 onto the A50 at J21.

Pretty sure its a very small ground though!

Good draw for my local side Coalville Town away at Notts County as well.

Fylde at home for us. Honestly would've take any other team bar them. Never beaten them and with our injury crisis I don't see that changing

1400 tickets sold already with four days to go and pay on the day as well, could be nudging towards 1800 away fans not a bad effort.

It's amazing the good feel factor of an FA Cup game for the fans, least it's not an arduous journey to travel.

I'll have to pay on the day. I've tried several times for an online ticket. I get to TKTs and nothing.

Off to South Shields in a bit...

United Twitter have put a big list from Shields(yeah right)about what we can and can't do.

In reality, we've not sold our allocation and will be mainly old farts and middle aged farts like me enjoying a day out on the beer. don't expect us to win.

Won 1-0 away at Peterborough sports and into the first round.

Deserve to be there had 3 extremely tough draws to get through and deserve a good draw………but that usually means an away game 6-7 Hours away to a side with no fans!

Very unfortunate to not have got a draw today v a team over 300 places above us. Bar the first 10-15 mins we had much more of the ball and chances. The difference being they were clinical when they got their chances.

Very much enjoyed this cup run, far better anything that the previous incarnation Bury Fc ever did in my 20+ years of watching them.

Who’s idea it was to bring 5 police horses to South Shields, I don’t know… they clip clopped away bored…

Pathetic doesn’t sum up that performance. None of them wanted to be there.

BigDaveCUFC well done winning at Pboro Sports, bad week for their manager with the turmoil in the Tory Party.
