Our two players Covid tests have returned as negative so we could have played last night but hey ho.

We’re at Stockport - probably go stronger than we usually do in the trophy just because we haven’t played for three weeks and people will be needing some match fitness again.

Dover played with 6 players isolating the other night, who makes up these rules. They’ve not even concluded last season competition, it should have been scrapped. Prefer us to get beat Saturday, probably will do having not played for 3 full weeks but expect a strong side to get them all back playing before we face massive and going up Stockport on Tuesday.

Our game will almost certainly be called off with Southport. The snow has been horrendous in Halifax today

Likewise with all the rain down south and more expected on Saturday it's almost inevitable our match at home to Gloucester will be waterlogged.

Don’t get why this cup hasn’t been scrapped and why clubs are taking it seriously.
Leagues need finishing not a tin pot cup of which last season has not even been played?

With no fans to worry about, you could always switch it to the Hive.

Why has B/Wood v Torquay been switched to Tuesday?

Snow predicted overnight but if you looked at the forecast for London it would have barely been a dusting and was due to warm up well by kick off. Tinpot, surely with all these games you just have to take a chance with it.

Utterly ludicrous. I'm starting to think clubs want the season called off now.

Opposition clubs need to start calling out teams on this bullshit rather than just accepting every postponement.

Pretty watchable game despite being two largely reserve teams at Stockport vs Notts. Penalties would’ve been a fair outcome tbh but Wootton won it for us late on with a deflected long ranger.

No issue with us having another crack at this after being a bit robbed with the semi-final circumstances last season. Could potentially be a very nice bonus to look forward to if fans are back by the summer.

Words can't describe my ambivalence towards that defeat. Well, they could, but I can't be bothered. Just glad it's less fixture congestion.

We were dreadful at Sutton could have lost by a few more, no surprised given the long 3 week lay off. Getting tired of the lack of effort from these players as it’s clearly there, having lost Ogogo who has now returned to Bristol Rovers we look spineless and rudderless.

Massive improvement required for Stockport Tuesday or we will be very easily beaten and looking over our shoulders again.

Worthwhile for us, we've not played for weeks and lost the last one we did play.
wWe have to play the fixtures so may as well try to win it and you never know, might be allowed to watch a final at Wembley live in the flesh, if we get there.

Entertaining win over Gloucester last night, dominant first half from ourselves which saw us 2 goals up at the break but Gloucester really upped their pressing game after the half-time team talk and it did lead to us making mistakes at the back which they really should have capitalised on.

Jack Burroughs scored a worldy (35 yards supposedly on his weaker foot) for them to make the game 2-1 but a second penalty was converted by Danny Green to see out the victory. Onto Darlington, if the season is still going at that point.

We play at Boreham tonight. Need a game as haven't played for a few weeks. We are at Notts on Saturday and ideally we will be out of the competition. Just lose a Saturday fixture now every round we progress.

We play at Boreham tonight.

Whoopee! Cannot wait!

Seriously though... I'm actually giving this one a miss. There is no way I'll be putting a tenner into Boring Wood's pockets for some crappy live stream, and if Dave Thomas is co-commentating on the match on TUFC Radio it'll be as much fun as being a Maidstone United fan experiencing Teniola Time! (yep, even after 7 years, it still makes me smile... best mug my kids ever bought me!).

By the way, if you are planning on watching/listening, it's a 7pm kickoff.

Boreham edge the first half and missed target twice. We were much better second half and an early. Boreham one great chance to equalise when forward was right through but keeper saved. Three late goals finished them off.
