We welcome our old chums Guiseley/Chorley

With nine, possibly ten, games this month, I can't help but agree with the sentiment that the trophy should've been put on hiatus this season

We face Kidsgrove or Stamford on away Tuesday. Which would see us play an old favourite in Anthony Malbon.

Whoever wins of Tuesday would get a bye through to the 4th round because of Macclesfield.

Must win on Tuesday then, its free money for whoever wins.

Brackley or Royston at home for us.

Suspect Rowe will put the 2nd string out for this game as he’ll want to see which ones are up for the fight in securing their futures here...

Can see a mass exodus of players leaving the club come January so last chance saloon for some of them!

Blyth or Morpeth away. Of course we get a fun draw this year after an endless drudge of fellow former league sides last year when we could actually go.

Alfreton home to Step 4 side Bedford Town with the victors hosting Kings Lynn.
Impossible to be confident with us at the moment. But it should be a chance to find the net and progress.

BPA at home we've got.

Winners away to Alty. If it's us it'll be our millionth cup tie in several years against them.

Away to either St Albans City or Cray Wanderers. We played St Albans away in pre-season and Cray play at Bromley’s ground and we’re away at Bromley on the 26th. Fun times

Some really good games with you in both league and cup last season but lots of ex-Linnets at Bedford so they will be looking to do what they can to meet up again with us. Sorry to say I am with Minsterman Central in that I would rather see us pull out than go to the bother of playing the tie.

Away to Aveley or Chesham. Ideal as gives a chance of changing a few regular players.1

Our tie at Borehamwood has been moved to 22nd Dec after it was postponed from this Saturday. This meams their league against Weymuff scheduled for that day is postponed as FA competitions take precedence.

Harriers lose to Stamford. Embarrassing. Pissed off. Should be used to going out to lower league sides, but every time we do, it’s another kick in the bollocks. 8 grand down the shitter

4-2 win over Needham Market in the first game in front of fans back home, Mensah scoring after a few mins and we were 3 up in half an hour. Needham though didn't give in and their wingers in particular really caused some issues and suddenly it was 3-2 with two really well taken goals and it became very cagey.

Jack James then scored his 2nd and our 4th after their keeper made a horrific gaffe and from that point the tie was won. Needham look a decent side, would be surprised if they aren't in the promotion race in their league come the end of the season.

Was nice to be home and have supporters in (was a "covid restricted" sellout) but the whole social distancing and masks experience isn't a great one in truth. Would obviously rather that than no fans at all of course, but still.

Result pretty much never in doubt against City of Liverpool with a 2-0 win. Once again we wasted a few chances and should have won convincingly, out of the top drawer opener from Charman!

Up next Telford, surely to god they can't put 10 past us on Saturday :shut:

We’re away at Morpeth Town. We kind of got to the semi-final by accident last year having played reserve teams the whole way through, then got thrown under the bus by having to play Harrogate when they’d already started their season and we’d only had a couple of friendlies.

Don’t think we’ll be too bothered and will make as many changes as we can, with the players returning from injury all getting a game. Should still have enough to win, but wouldn’t be a huge surprise if we didn’t.

I really couldn't give a fuck about this tinpot waste of time - don't think they even played the final yet from last year. Why it wasn't cancelled this season is a mystery.

Happily let FC Halifax 2008 TM ltd .co.uk get their famous win.

Yeah, could not give a fuck about this at all.

Give a few fringe lads a go against Guiseley and see how they do.
