Haslam certainly liked 'loaning' himself substantial amounts of monies. How much did he put in the club? One whole pound? How much did he take out?

As for Alan Hardy, to be fair, I don't think he's a bad owner as such. He's not in the same bracket as Haslam, far from it, it seems. He's just made some bad decisions and as some have already said, almost as though he's playing out his championship manager fantasy with Notts.

AN - no idea tbh, I dread to think but it’s got to be well into 7 figures over the whole period. Some older Stags fans will know the rough figure. Totally agree to compare Hardy to Haslam or Brown is laughable , he’s made some bad decisions for sure, quite a few but he’s not done anything dodgy as those two did. Last season you could hardly hear a bad word against him Cos things were going so well. That’s football for you

I simply got a notification saying that not one but two Stags fans were prepared to discuss the past ( in this instance Keith Haslam). It’s a rarity , and seeing as Adam once again refuses to answer any question he doesn’t like ( still waiting chap, ready when you are ) , there was no way I could be rude and ignore them

I imagine at least one of if not both Stringy and Amber Nectar remember football before the year 2000 so they are qualified and adult enough to discuss.

Although only a newbie or a complete fool would compare him to Keith Haslam with any seriousness . Anyone who was around during that period knows just how much harm he did to Mansfield !
