What are some of your favourites or some of your own ideas?

I love the ones about Sean Connery being a captured James Bond in The Rock, Will being killed in Philly during that basketball game and Bel Air being the afterlife where he's put through a series of moralistic challenges and Uncle Phil is God, and the Back to the Future one where Doc intends to kill himself and Marty should the time machine be yet another failed invention, hence him driving the car right at them.

Stolen from the internet (of course), The Craggy Island Effect.

There is something in the water supply on Craggy Island. Ted hasn't been there as long as the others so it hasn't taken effect.

Dougal has been there longer so he's feeling the full effects.

Jack realised that the water was bad so he started drinking only booze and household cleaners.

Mrs Doyle knows the water is bad - which is why she's so keen on making everyone tea. Boiling water is her attempt at purifying it.

I used to love the whole theory about James Bond being a codename, if they'd gone with it there would have been so many possibilities.

I liked that one, the top agent at MI6 was given the name and the code number. It's been disproved though as there's too much evidence of new Bond's having continuity of lives previous Bonds had.

My personal theory is that Hank Hill, from King of the Hill, is the greatest example of a human being that has ever been dreamt up.

I couldn't get into that show, watched a couple of episodes, and while they were alright, I didn't find myself wanting to watch loads of them.

May have a look out for Archer though, that looks insane :D

Were they the really early ones, out of interest?

Remembered the one about Ledger's Joker being a former military man. His precision on plans and tactical awareness, ability to use weaponry with ease whether pistol, rifle or rpg, being able to make bombs. The ability to withstand pain under interrogation (the scene with Batman in the room).

The scene with Harvey Dent in the hospital bed, the quote along the lines of 'if a truck full of soldiers blows up no one blinks an eye, because its all part of the plan'. It makes it seem like something happened to the Joker while abroad as a soldier which affected him and started his transformation into the man we see in the dark knight.

that is less fan theory and more perfectly reasonable interpretation of some pretty obvious subtext.

I know, but thanks. You've finished it off with an extra 'g' to fuel the fury of the pedantic posters.
