We just signed him from Real Sociedad for 15M€. Apparently he played for you guys back in 2008/09 on loan from Tottenham (not that often though, he completed the grand total of 7 games for Cheltenham) and broke a Scunthorpe United player's leg.

Care to share your thoughts on the lad?

CTFC were off my radar at this time, i'm sure some Town fan will update you on your enquiry, we would have been in league one then but seven games played doesn't give the best endorsement.

There's not much to tell really.

He was one of 50odd players we used when Martin Allen was manager (the worst year I've witnessed in the 23 years I've supported the club). He was a young lad from Spurs who clearly had talent but wasn't ready for a relegation scrap in the rough and tumble of lower league English football. Amazed he's gone on to where he's got to, but I could say the same about other loanees we've had who didn't impress, Michail Antonio for example.
