According to my sources, despite being Liverpool's best defender for the past two seasons, Kolo Toure is set to be released in a matter of weeks. Madness but there you go, Klopp can do no wrong etc...

Do you think KT will now hang his boots and XXL shorts up? Could he go abroad to play? Will another BPL side come knocking? If I was at somewhere like Everton I'd be straight on the phone to him as we speak.

Regardless of what happens, £ for £ has there been a better BPL player in living memory...?

What, the papers?

No, and I can't reveal names I'm afraid. I'm sure you understand,

I hope he doesn't make the mistake of joining Rodgers in that pub league but I've already heard rumblings that could be an option for him.

Your mate's been reading The Mail and The Mirror in that case.

As for Kolo, he's a decent option to have off the bench, but it's clear there is going to be a significant overhaul of the defence this summer and there simply isn't a place for him.

Love Kolo and would like him to be there for another year but if he wants to move on or Klopp feels he doesn't need him so be it. He's become a real fans favourite and has been superb this season when called upon.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Wonder if he fancies a year or two in Aston?

Tbf, you've had great success with defensive players with Manchester City premier league titles under their belt....

Kolo a true professional. Wouldn't mind him staying one more season over that donkey Skrtel. We need one more cb in addition to Matip if he does leave.

I can't believe Klopp would rob the league of this:

Kolo is great, well liked and showed this season he can still perform when called upon. I guess you could ask if another would be a season too far, but I want him to stay in some capacity.
