Preston (H) - I've been critical of Joe Garner since the summer, and been proven right. So obvious he'll just go and get gifted a hat trick here. LOSS

Fulham (A) - LOL. LOSS

MK Dons (H) - Finally back to winning ways, but it won't be convincing. WIN

Brentford (A) - Tough game. LOSS

Blackburn (H) - Bit of a non-event. DRAW

Wolves (A) - Repeat of last season. LOSS

4/18 - Successful month.

Bolton (H) - Win ... maybe

Reading (A) - Lose ... revenge for the daylight robbery we committed upon them earlier in December.

Preston (H) - Draw ... Preston have a solid defence, and we probably wont have any strikers, 0-0

Huddersfield (A) - Lose .... Clinical 3-0 home win, Kenny Jackett is relieved of his duties the following day.

Brentford (A) - Draw, Think we might scrape a draw here.

Derby (H) - Lose ... We'll forfeit the game. A mixture of all out first team players picking up 9-12 month injures along with the board refusing to sign any players will mean we can't field a starting XI. Derby's promotion hunt back on track.

5 points from 18 will leave us around 17th.

A lot of these results will depend if we bring a manager in/if we sign any more players. As it currently is:

Charlton (A)- Please, please can we win this one. Have a feeling we won't though. DRAW

Ipswich (H)- The rest of the results I think will depend on the Charlton one, but I'll go with another DRAW.

MK (A)- Not much between us. Repeat of the home game, 1-1 DRAW

Brighton (H)- They aren't anything special but we'll lose in a tight game. LOSE

Forest (A)- Beat them at home quite comfortably but they've been going well since then. DRAW.

4 from 5 games, pretty much the same as we've been going all season. A couple of wins would be nice though, preferably at Charlton and/or MK.

Big month for us if we're going to sustain our play off push.

Burnley home - only team to beat us at hillsborough so far is boro and that was before we'd settled, I'll go draw

Birmingham away - they were crap at hillsborough but they're 7th for a reason, draw

Brentford home - win

Preston away - win

Qpr home - win

Hull away - first defeat for ages I reckon here

Leeds (A) - W. It's my birthday and I'm going which is normally a recipe for success.

Huddersfield (H) - W. Just a very winnable match, they're bang average.

Hull (A) - D. Backs to the wall but we hold on

Burnley (A) - L. Have we ever won at Turf Moor?

Bristol C (H) - W. Again, a team we should look to be beating at home.

10 points, would be a good haul for sure.

2nd Feb - Derby (A) - They are in poor form and play Man United at home on Friday, Lord Mayors show blah blah blah - Draw
6th Feb - Huddersfield (H) - They dismantled us on Boxing Day, really exposing our lack of pace at the back, fear a repeat performance - Loss
13th Feb - Wolves (A) - Worst side I've seen at Deepdale all season and only Trevor Kettle stopped us getting all 3 points - Win
20th Feb - Sheff Weds (H) - Look a good side and this will be tough, think we can get a point though - Draw
23rd Feb - Charlton (H) - They are utterly wank, will be very disappointed if we don't win - Win
27th Feb - Cardiff (A) - Their home form is very good, will be very tough - Loss

After the Chelsea kids (does anyone on here get the obscure band reference?) hand us a new one in front of the cameras on Sunday, it's back to the crawl towards the possible sanctuary of 46 points. February's contribution may be a bit thin:

Cardiff (A) - they were absolute toss at our place so fully expect them to be rampant at home. 0-1 LOSS
Middlesbro (H) - the sort of game where we could surprise a few. We won't though. 0-4 LOSS
Derby (A) - they are in a slump. Hello boys - welcome to a tonic. 0-3 LOSS
Bristol City (H) - we always outplay them at stadio:mk, let a stupid goal in and then equalise in the 94th minute. To be continued. 1-1 DRAW
Huddersfield (H) - drawing on the new found confidence of an actual point, an unlikely win will be thwarted by a late og. 2-2 DRAW
Blackburn (A) - always enjoyed Blackburn. Let me rephrase that - it's a hole. View not improved by 72% possession and 2 shots. 0-1 LOSS

Are we there yet?

Preston (H) - I'd go as far as saying this game will utterly depend on the Yernighted performance/result - LOSS

Fulham (A) - Routine win for the London boys - LOSS

MK Dons (H) - Scrappy 1-0 win, everyone boos a couple decibels less - WIN

Brentford (A) - No chance on god's green earth - LOSS

Blackburn (H) - Good team are Blackburn - LOSS

Wolves (A) - Comfortable loss, by 2 or more goals - LOSS

3 points from a possible 18. An improvement on January, but enough to see us slip outside the top eight.

Have things really got that bad that quickly? Surely there is some overreaction by Deeby fans going on here?

That is a nice run of fixtures for Derby, bar perhaps Brentford away. Should be looking at 3/4 wins at least. I refuse to believe things are that bad. Monday was hilarious but pretty bad luck really. The defence looked shocking but Derby were the better team. They don't concede many either so it was clearly an exception rather than the rule.

Brighton (A) - Lose, we were very unlucky not to beat Brighton when they came to Griffin Park, but they've made some great additions over the past month, look a lot stronger and have come out of their slump somewhat. Given our poor form of late think we'll do very well to come back with a point.
Sheff Wed (A) - Lose, again, I think Wednesday have done good business this month while we've struggled to maintain our squad. There's a bit of fluency missing at the moment both in defence and attack, and Wednesday will exploit that.
Derby (H) - Lose, despite what Derby fans are saying, they'll be more than fine, they are just experiencing a bit of a blip. We beat them last year at home, but again the vast majority of our attack has disappeared since then, and I can see them getting revenge here.
Wolves (H) - Win, think this is where our luck will turn for the month. After 3 very tough fixtures I would back us to come back and secure some points.
Rotherham (A) - Win, we've done well against Rotherham since coming up, most of the time thye seem to struggle with our type of play, so I'll be hoping for more of the same here.

6/15 would be great, might end up with 4 or 5. We'll coast through to the end of the season now I reckon unfortunately. Dean Smith hasn't impressed me so far, but hopefully he'll use this time to build the team into the formation and style of football we want to play.

Charlton (A) - Big game. No striker in, so no goals scored.

1-0.

Ipswich (H) - Gave them a good game at their place, fancy a point here.

0-0.

MK Dons (A) - Another big game, inevitable outcome here though.

2-0. JET and Maynard.

Brighton (H) - Again, gave them a proper game at the Amex and fancy a point here. Goal from a set-piece.

1-1.

Forest (A) - Finish the month on a high, we have a decent record against Forest in recent years.

0-1.

The Wednesday
Burnley (h) predicted our first home defeat since August in the January thread and stand by it

Birmingham (a) proper six pointer but think it will be a case of cancelling each other out.

Brentford (h) they've had their squad decimated and I predict a much needed three points.

Preston (a) a tough game against them at ours but expect us to have enough to get at least a point

QPR (h) three much needed points here.

Hull (a) Defeat under the lights and on Sky.

8 from 18

Reading (H) - Our home form isn't great, but we win a lot more on a Tuesday than a Saturday. Win
QPR (A) - This one's got draw written all over it. Draw
Bristol City (A) - Our away results have been good this season, this should be another win. Win
Hull (H) - If our Tuesday winning streak doesn't end against Reading, it definitely will here. Lose
Huddersfield (A) - A dour 0-0 when we played them at home, think this might be similar. Draw

8/15, that would be ok and should keep us in touch with the top six.

Cardiff (A) - Loss. We are awful away from home
Middlesborough (H) - Loss. Normally good on Tuesday nights at home, but the last time we played a team going for autos on a tuesday at home we were trounced 5-0 and Boro are better than Burnley
Derby (A) - Loss. Same as Cardiff
Bristol City (H) - Win. Normally tight games but if squads stay how they are I can see JET dealing them some damage and being the key factor, especially as their best keeper Luke Ayling won't be playing this year
Huddersfield (H) - Win. The fact we sort of have to win this aside Tuesday nights at home barring Burnley have been promising, and I'd expect us to be back to the Charlton/Wednesday type of games and win it by a goal
Blackburn (A) - Draw. I don't know why but especially after they've lost Rhodes I have a feeling that we can nick something out of this

7/18, not expecting much at the start of the month but the end of the month is massive for us

MK Dons (H) - The kind of game we always struggle in. Feel we might nick it though. Win
Charlton (A) - Away form seems to be on the up, optimistic. Win
Brighton (H) - We're terrible on Sky, always. Anything but a loss is good. Draw
Middlesborough (A) - Pfft, may as well give them the victory now, saves a long Tuesday night trip up there! Loss
Preston (H) - Same as the MK Dons game, struggle against lower half teams. Draw

2-0 at home to Bolton with 10 mins to go and end up drawing 2-2... they were all over us too.

The future looks bright for our useless bottlejobs.

Fair play, sounded like you've absolutely bossed us for 90 minutes and deserved a comfortable win.

Disappointing for our run to end and really annoys me that we get a really good away win and follow it up with a shit home performance against an, on paper, weaker side.

Be interesting to see how we bounce back but everyone around us dropped points so it is not the end of the world.

What a month so far, 13 points from 15 but a tough trip to Cardiff on Saturday. If we get anything there I imagine Grayson may well win manager of the month. Hopefully carry this form through to March.
