Got to keep on winning on the assumption FGR and Grimsby do the same (although they both have some tough looking games).

Busy month for Diamonds, with only one midweek free. That's to the back end of the month so postponements might go in that slot.

Tuesday 2nd - Brackley Town (H) [local cup] - Lose
Sat 6th - Ware (H) - Win
Tuesday 9th - Arlesey Town (H) - Win
Sat 13th - Fleet Town (A) - Win
Tuesday 16th - St Ives Town (H) - Draw
Sat 20th - Kings Langley (H) - Lose
Sat 27th - Potters Bar Town (A) - Win
[13/18]

Going for us crashing out of the local cup at semi-final stage to the team who knocked us out last year. I'm not bothered by it, though some of our fans seem to care more now that winning the thing can be done and we're one of the lower teams in the area. It's another fixture we could possibly do without adding to the calendar, and it could be against the lot from up the A6 which would be weird. If we're in for a promotion it could be a preview to next season. I'd like it if it could be played the Saturday after the end of the regular season if we were to make it through.

Ware are going to be our toughest opponents in the first half of the month, with Fleet and Arlesey more worried about relegation than anything else they do still have 11 points each over the relegation spots, so shouldn't be under too much pressure. If we're going to challenge then we need to be winning those games, and Ware weren't impressive at their place despite getting a draw. We need to respond to the Beaconsfield loss and a home league game is a great way to do that.

The second half of the month is a lot tougher. St Ives and Kings Langley both sitting in playoff spots. Ives have gone off the boil a little prompting a little more optimism from me for the draw at home. Langley however will be very pissed at us after the debacle at their place - we'll have to have extra stewards just to deal with their management team! Potters Bar are a standard mid-table team so I am hoping we can go there and beat a team with nothing left to play for.

Overall I'm counting 13 points out of 18 (6 league games). Just over 2 points per game and maintaining playoff form. Probably not enough for a title push, but nobody has been pulling away this year so you never know, gauge what happens and take stock around March. The positive we'll have is out of the current top 10 we'll only have 3 left to play if all these fixtures go ahead. With those around us dropping points at convenient times if we still sit top of the pile at the end of the month then we've really got to be thinking we can close it out.

We do well against the big teams so think we may beat cheltenham, southport will be tough they are bang in form, aldershot crumbled at our place once we scored, win then the big one chester away..... Win by any score so despite the fact we wont go up this year me working in chester will be a smug experience until august at the earliest

10 points for a rovers side beginning to grind out results despite not playing well...we have finally learnt

Bit of a break now thanks to the Trophy but a toughish February coming up.

Sat 13 Tranmere (Home) - Draw
Sat 20 Gateshead (Away) - Draw
Sat 27 Welling (Away) - Win

So, would like 5/9, but can equally see us only getting 3.

Only 3 games for us this month, and 2 of them are pretty tough ones:

Tranmere (H) - LOSE
Gateshead (A) - DRAW (We always seem to nick a point up there)
Welling (A) - WIN

Can't see us getting more than 4/9 to be honest.

Slightly gutted I called today's score, albeit getting the correct result against Southport.

Hopefully the correct result next week and correct score the one after to follow the pattern.

We'll lose all three, officially ending our season. Then a bleak two more months as the board stay quiet and we head into next season with no direction or plan for the future.

10/12 . Good month just a little disappointing to surrender the lead against Corby in the final minute in the manner we did.

Tuesday 16th - St Ives Town (H) - Draw - Won
Sat 20th - Kings Langley (H) - Lose - Lost
Sat 27th - Potters Bar Town (A) - Win - Lost
[13/18]

10/18 - short of the 2/game that it looks like will be about the title winning average, and now we've fallen behind that overall. Just 9 games left for us to get there, though some of our rivals are starting to drop unexpected points.

Pretty good predicting mostly, a drawn and a win swapped because Fleet were better than expected and St Ives were worse. We failed to turn up at Potters Bar (and for the game vs Kings Langley, though that was more expected), but we made our way through in the local cup. So the total number of wins draws and losses was spot on!

Overall hard not to feel disappointed off the back of the last loss when we'd got our title hopes up with that win against St Ives. I think I'm right in saying we've not lost 3 in a row yet as AFCR&D, so at least we've got that going for us, though this is the second time so far this season we've lost 2 league games in a row. It is interesting to note that despite these losses, and the fact we've played the most games, it is now only St Ives (with 6 losses) who have lost a game less than us (7 losses). The lack of draws for Kings Langley(8 losses), Egham(7) and Royston (7) have all drawn a lot less games than us. We sit top on GD for now, but games in hand means we are unlikely to stay there.

Wanted 5, thought 3, got 4. A decent return given the games and now a hectic March begins.

Got Tranmere and Gateshead the wrong way round but got the expected 4 points. Could have been better, could have been worse.
