About bloody time. Should never have re-appointed him in the first place!

THANK. FUCK. FOR. THAT.

McCann is a shoe in for the job. Lots and lots of money put on him already. He's dropped from 16/1 to 15/8 already.

They could literally put anybody in charge and it would be an improvement on Ferguson post-2013.

Not true. Him replacing Johnson was a good move but the relegation at Palace hit him like a freight train and he never really recovered. I can understand us giving him the chance to get us back up but he should have gone in January that season, not 13 months later.

But we did get promoted in the end, so it kind of was the right decision.

And that's been proven since, Johnson failed miserably at Northampton, and although did fantastically well to get Yeovil promoted, then failed for the next one and a half seasons, resulting in Yeovil being bottom of League 1.

As fans, we didn't mind Gary Johnson, but some of his decisions were baffling (Permanently dropping Ryan Bennett for Kelvin Langmead). We were letting in an average of 3 goals a game in his final 6 games in charge and he didn't get on very well with the Chairman.

Please please please try and tap up Steven Pressley. He talks like he's The best manager ever to walk the earth so he might pass the interview.

Please try your best

Lived in the area for years, still got a house there, his family live there and he's said he supports Peterborough. Not to mention DMac praising him on Twitter countless times and saying he'd have him if he needed a manager.

As much as Rovrum fans believe it will happen, it won't.

Well it will cost Peterborough plenty if he goes there, he signed a contract that goes to 2017 not too long ago.

I hope he stays here, but I could understand it if he wanted to move back to the area, his family house is still there.

He might not be everybody's cup of tea but he has done an amazing job for us.

Awful manager, worse than Westley.

Hope he never works again.

Genuinley always wondered, what did he do wrong at Preston? I know his dad loaned you two players......I never really found out the in's and outs.

Not suprised he's finally gone at Posh, he should've left at the end of the season when they didn't go up.

Had no idea how to set up a defence, awful tactcially, baffling decision making and relied on 'out-attacking' teams despite having an average squad at that level. It was probably good enough to stay up with the likes of Billy Jones, Hume, Parkin, Coutts, Matty James & Treacy but not with that clown in charge. He was sacked far too late and is fully responsible for our relegation.

Then the shit following his sacking with Bacon Face and Pulis meant any hopes of survival were gone.

Grant McCann and Aaron McLean are assisting Dave Robertson as caretakers. McCann is continuing to play for Linfield too.

Interesting. I reckon we'll stay like that til the summer then McCann will be offered it full time.

McCann has now left Linfield and returns to use to coach full time. Glad about that.

Rumours on the manager front is that Warburton (I can't see it) and Evans are still MacAnthony's choice, but he refuses to pay compensation so Evans will depend on him leaving Rotherham.

After he was sacked, his Dad recalled all loanees from Preston immediately and then got Tony Pulis to recall his too.
