Finished up in gold 3. So many bullshit games where it was like 15-3 in shots to me but I lost 2-1.

a small matter that irks me about career mode is the fact that you cannot browse international teams when searching for players... there will be a few players in international teams that will not appear in any of the leagues playable which means that they cant be used!

also bring back the old search function for player ratings etc. i hate the 'realistic scouting'

I've finally got my transfer list full of kits with around another 30 in my market to list once they've sold off. 120k in bank. Aren't buying any more players till market calms its self down then might get a Spanish squad or German.

Abel Hernandez is a great striker on the game. About 14 goals in 9 games for me. Morata is also very good about 13 in 11 for him.

Only bought this because we're back on it but I'm glad I did. Gameplay is more realistic and less easy to beat people with pace. It's hard to defend/easier to attack, whichever way you look at it. Also liking the new corner and free kick system, means you have more control over the ball. Wish they'd kept penalties the same, my run-up still looks ridiculous.

Haven't played much UT yet, just focusing on the Journey and Career Mode atm.

Still think they should take more care in rating lower-league players; so many players rated wrong, though I guess it's always been and always will be like that

I'm usually pretty competent when playing online, whether on UT or Seasons, and usually float anywhere between division 3 and 5.

This year though I'm VERY up and down. I've only really played on UT and after sailing through 10 and 9 with pretty much no opposition I then proceeded to lose 7 of 10 games in division 8 and get relegated with gusto. I'm pretty happy with my team now and hopefully I'll stand in better stead but I'll admit the defending has become so hard. I'll concede one and all of a sudden I'll be 3/4 down.

If he gets an IF fairly soon he'll be worth a fair bit, but I think OTW cards will steadily decline in value for the most part as a lot of them are overpriced. Miliks recent injury will be casting doubt over the merits of taking the risk. Also lots of people are buying on the incorrect assumption that if the player gets a TOTS/TOTY they'll get that upgrade, which they won't.
The positive for cards like Dembele is that players that are low ranked are getting big upgrades. He could go from a 77 up to an 82 potentially so there's that.
Have a look at Dortmunds coming fixtures. Any piss easy games he can get an IF in?

That last sentence sums up my time online on UT completely. Find that if I concede one, the next few will come shortly. Thrown away a few two goal leads and even ended up losing.

Giving the 4-3-3 false 9 a go as I enjoyed it a lot in other fifas.

Took me a few games to get going but doing pretty well last few games.

Can't seem to do well with the wingers cutting inside though no matter what I try. Most of my goals come from one of the CMs overlapping the CF.

Not played much FUT online yet, but normal head to head is ridiculously easy so far. I've not played FIFA in almost 3 years other than the past two weeks and getting to Div 8 took me the minimum amount of games.

Definitely. All very frustrating so it's just become my main focus this year in strengthening my team. Countering seems to be pretty good this year so I'm hoping until I have enough for decent forward players I'll be set.

Same, can't defend or finish.

It's great in someways as the games can be great fun but at the same time its so frustrating when your defence just disappears especially if you have a 2 goal Lead then end up level or behind in a matter of minutes

Visually I think 17 is head and shoulders above 16 but defending is so so frustrating. As I said before I've just decided to build from the back this year to hopefully counteract it.
