When Charlton allowed us to have a trophy presentation on their pitch last season, it was a memory I will treasure forever and we were very grateful to Charlton for the way they received us.
However I can understand how the prospect of seeing that for a second consecutive season, after a successive season of struggle and in this case actual relegation, must be pretty bloody unpleasant. And I think any fan base would be protesting given what Charlton are going through, and the contempt with which the ownership seems to hold the fan-base. Must of us have been there or at least somewhere near with an owner at some point in our history.
The question I'd ask is, are Charlton's owners like Aston Villa's in their non attendance? Never anywhere near a match and thus have no idea that the supporters are baying for blood with protest marches and banners every week? Or will there be somebody from the Duchatelet clan around to actually see the protests and give it a chance of changing something?
CEO Katrien Meire is at every game, Roland himself has not been to a game since October 2014.
Unfortunately, Meire is simply deluded and a compulsive liar and it seems as though she is feeding Roland utter bollocks -

As for the game on Saturday, CARD have announced there are no plans to get the game abandoned (doesn't mean it won't if other fans decide to do something that will cause this).
As I said earlier in the thread, I don't think it will get abandoned but I would expect a lot of lengthy delays, the fact it's on TV will only encourage more demonstrations.
