So here we are, final games of a very long season:
Barrow v Wrexham
Braintree v Altrincham
Bromley v Aldershot
Cheltenham v Lincoln
Chester v Gateshead
Dover v Forest Green
Guiseley v Torquay
Halifax v Macclesfield
Southport v Kidderminster
Tranmere v Grimsby
Welling v Borehamwood
Woking v Eastleigh
A few permutations but in briefest possible terms:
At the top:
A win or draw for Braintree sees them in the play offs, however should they lose and Tranmere beat Grimsby then Tranmere will snatch 5th place.
Should Braintree lose and Tranmere fail to win, then an Eastleigh win at Woking by 2 goals would see them snatch 5th instead.
At the bottom:
Altrincham need to win at Braintree to have any chance of avoiding the drop, and then pray to the football gods that Halifax lose to Macclesfield and Guiseley lose to Torquay which would keep Alty up.
Should Halifax lose and Guiseley draw, then Altrincham need to win at Braintree by 2 goals, which would keep them up on level goal difference with Guiseley, but Alty staying up on goals scored.
Meanwhile Guiseley will stay up if they win, and either Halifax or Borehamwood fail to do so.
Guiseley could also stay up with a draw, if Halifax lose and Alty do not win by 2 goals.
Halifax definitely stay up with a win, and a draw will be enough if Guiseley fail to win.
And finally Borehamwood stay up with a win, and a draw will be enough as long as halifax and Guiseley do not both win.
I think that's covered everything of note.
