What a weird game.
Fleetwood's first goal was offside, their second was a foul. We should have had a penalty when Hopper got rugby tackled which wasn't given, then the ref randomly gave us a penalty two minutes later.
Just was one of those days.

How are you finding Pressley in Fleetwood? Happy enough with the job he is doing so far?

Even game overall but we had the better chances I felt and it was never a penalty, we have played better and lost.
Few dont like Pressley but overall he has the fans backing and we like that he sets his teams up to play football and attack for the most part, polar opposite to Graham Alexander.
Certainly hes been backed in the market in recent weeks with some better players coming in as we try and get away from trouble, tough schedule ahead though so had to win yesterday.

Madden could and maybe should have had a hat trick, but apart the odd flurry, we were outplayed. Better second half from us after changing it around, but poor setup first half gave Fleetwood the impetus. Disappointing result for us after a 4-game winning run.
We are now establishing ourselves in mid-table, a relief to some and a disappointment to others. For me, it is what I expected. I had us down for a 12th placed finish this season, but we are not there yet. While we are not safe, we have the playoffs in our headlights. Here's hoping that we can keep our season alive with hopes of the distant playoffs.
