A much deserved rest can be the only positive.

At least we still have the excuse of having a game in hand over Gillingham/Wigan :D

More games to fit in later though, and you are still in the FA Cup. Better to have the points on the board

It's not rained in Preston at all today, has it been bad in Fleetwood? Chris

It was quite heavy last night. I believe it carried on heavy during the morning (I work 40 miles away)

As much as I admire them, I'm really beginning to get pissed off with how stubborn Burton are. Annoying that we couldn't hang on Saturday as we would still be second. We can't let Gillingham/Burton get away from us with kinder fixture lists in the next couple of weeks.

They are doing really well, I thought after we played them earlier in the season that they wouldn't last the pace.
It looks like they will now, two great wins recently away to Coventry & Peterborough, the only chink of light for the clubs chasing them was that home loss to the Sloppies.

2-0 Walsall, Hiwula and Bradshaw with the goals.

If Fleetwood make me drive up there just to call it off again then I will burn the entire town down.

You would be doing the residents of Fleetwood a massive favour.

A draw will be ok, we don't want the travellers from the Biscuit tin getting promoted either ;)

Warsaw win, please. (Born in Cannock, so have a residual liking for them, somehow).

Plus Shrews and Oldham supporting mates...

Same side as Saturday starts tonight..we appear to have started slowly and have been under a little pressure.

Much to the Gills delight no doubt..

Why this season have Walsall decided they're going to be one of the best teams in Europe away from home, but cack in front of their own fans?

We do this virtually every season. We haven't been good at home since we won League 2, but we always give it a good old go away from home.

Massive victory, that 6 minutes felt like the longest thing ever. Credit to Fleetwood, they probably deserved more from the game, but we took our chances and grew into that after 30 or so minutes. After Chambers went off injured I feared having our 3 central midfielders as Kinsella, Mantom and Forde!!

Huge victory though. We are quite a force away from home.

Oh look, Walsall right back in the automatic hunt. Funny how things work out isn't it?

Walsall scored with their only shot on target and we didn't with our 5 on target. A draw would have been the fair result but their keeper made a decent save at the end

So you may as well have been playing Man Utd then, except Walsall actually won :bye:
